I have used this silicone in the past but I think I am going to use something else from now on. I bought two tubes of it to do my kitchen I only did a little bit because I ran out of time but I am glad I only did that little bit. It cured for 3 days and had dried clear on the third day a few drops of water got on it and it turned white again and turned to soup. I had to scrape it out and redo. On the plus side it is very easy to work with when applying but the negative is it seems to have a very long and sensitive cure time. The GE product is more expensive and not as easy to work with but at least it actually cures in a reasonable time.

I have used this stuff for a few years now and don't have any complaints. It's clear-rubber silicone which will attract dirt and will come off of porcelain and metal things if scrubbed or rubbed- it's rubber basically. It is meant to be applied to a clean DRY surface without ANY oily reidues or it won't stick. They make expensive sealers for other things like that. I use it mainly on my sheds of 2x4 and OSB-plywood to seal around all the seams and gaps and it works great. Currently have had single applications last up to 3-years without a 2nd coat. I generally run about a 3/8-inch bead slightly pressed into grooves, seams, and embutments and works great. Never had what everyone else calls "shrinkage". Use the right caulk for the right job.

I get this caulk because we already paint the doors/windows trims so i expect the clear will do the job, apply white but dry clear BUT when is complete dry i see the gaps again and i need to re-caulk everything, is hard to see if its complete close or not because is clear but i can feel the edge of the trim on the wall. I will keep using the white for now on.

Goes on and cleans up well. Shrinks worse than I ever imagined. If you use this product, plan on two or more applications.

This product is complete trash when used outdoors. I applied it to the trim on the exterior of my camper. It turned to soup after one decent rain. Yes it is advertised as exterior product, and yes it rains outdoors. 2

Easy to use, dries clear. I had no problem with it shrinking or failing to cure. You do need to keep it dry until it turns clear, showing it has cured. Time to cure varies according to the thickness of the application. Easy cleanup compared to other caulks I have used.

I completely agree with RichieRich03. This produce is very easy to clean up, works great, and dries generally pretty quickly, but it does shrink after you apply it for about 12 hours. I had to recaulk the inside of my window sills using this caulk, but when I came back the next day, it left tiny crack lines, and I had to recaulk them. Probably would not recommend it since it is labor intensive to caulk and recaulk.
