This caulk go on white and is supposed to dry clear. Used this over 2 weeks ago and it still hasn't turned completely clear. The edges are clear but the center of the bead I applied is still white. Looks horrible. Now I have to dig it all out and replace with REAL clear caulk. Save your time and money and buy something else. Very disappointed with this company and product.

It continues to run from the caulk gun forever after releasing the application trigger. I was not satisfied with one application so I had to apply a second after waiting 48 hours for it to dry. Its not something I will buy again or would recommend you buy

I'm only 1/4 thru my first tube and I've had enough. It's far too thin. It goes on easy but even with the gun released, it keeps flowing from the tube. I'm getting something else. The 50 year doesn't run like this.
Other reviews mention needing a second application. Based on how thin it is, that doesn't surprise me. I don't have time to do things twice!
Anybody want my second tube?

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by KJ Goes on white but dries clear?
I didn't realize it was going to go on white and then take a week or more to dry clear. Better labelling would have been helpful. I don't have time to wait for it to turn clear so it's going back to the store.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Drew Alex Plus is my first choice
Alex Plus has been my first choice all-purpose caulk for decades, first in New Jersey where rain and humidity where the primary exterior challenges, and now in north-central Nebraska where temperature extremes and intense sun are the challenges. I consistently get excellent results. My first and most often repeated lesson as an apprentice was, "Understand your medium." Wood moves. Some species more than others. Some environmental conditions cause more movement than others. That's the basic understanding the wood medium part. Caulks dry differently, adhere differently, and harden or remain flexible differently. As long as one understands and selects the right medium for the job, and matches media that are complementary, there will be success. But when one attempts to bind up a board and batten wall with caulk, for instance, product failure and dissatisfaction are bound to follow. The board and batten system was designed to accommodate the movement of the wide boards, so let them move, or find a caulk that cures with the elasticity of a glob of chewing gum on hot pavement.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Brallan NO Instructions
The tube contains absolutely no instructions or info other than safety info. It would have been nice to know curing/painting time before I purchased this stuff. Now, after applying it to my RV, I find out that I can't paint it for 7-14 days!

The white color dries light gray not white. The brilliant white dries white. Do away with white and only make brilliant white. If looking to save cash.

Used this product on the exterior of a shower door threshold, between metal and tile. I had noted the 7-14 day dry time, but assumed this was a worst case; i.e. high humidity, cool temps, large bead, etc. Needed only a very thin bead, and in 12 hours it was "clear". Even so, I waited a full 24 hours to test, at which point it matched the shower's original clear sections. Failed immediately, but the good news is that it really does clean up easily with water, so all I'm out is a couple of hours of my time and the cost of a tube.
