Customer Questions & Answers

Is this product waterproof after curing? Would it hold up in a shower with water flow and steam?

Asked by: john
I used DAP Rapid Fuse to successfully glue a loose plastic bottom to a floating pool dispenser for chemical tablets. Took out of pool to dry, spot glued, and put back in a few hours later. Has absolutely held for months despite being constantly under water and subjected to numerous strong pool chemicals, including chlorine.

Can I glue jute twine to glass?

Probably, this adhesive will bond just about everything. Make sure to wear gloves when applying the glue in order to protect your skin from accidental bonding.

RapidFuse 0.85 oz. Clear All-Purpose Adhesive is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 65.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did not work on sunglasses! Used per instructions on a clean break on my Native brand sunglasses. The slightest pressure caused the bond to fail.

All I can think of is that I got a bad batch. It will not dry much less bond anything. It is almost like it is part a of a two part epoxy.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Flamable Home depot has that this product is not flamable! Better check the SDS on this stuff because it's a bit sensitive to heat! So I would say,yea it's flamable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from OH MY GOSH.... ABSOLUTELY AWESOME GLUE! I have bought brand after brand after brand of glues that promised everything that your glue offers and theirs did not! I do crafts and mostly do all of the minor repairs around the house, including mending my own shoes. I worked in a fabric store for many years and no glue I used from our craft section even comes close to yours. With your Rapid Fuse glue, there is no clogging(even after months of carrying it around with me in bags) or drying up. I paid top dollar in the past, in hopes finally purchasing of a glue that did what it claimed it did or did not do.. from the Gorilla to the Super, to the whatever... too thin, too thick, too not right. Now, I am known as the "glue lady" because I am never without a bottle of Dap Rapid Fuse and I have fixed so many "911" shoes, necklaces, broaches, etc. emergencies for people in trouble. Just want to say thanks and that your glue REALLY works!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from seems good Let me start off that I havent had the chance to test much in terms of how many of the materials it claims it can bond- however i used it to attach plastic to porous wood without issue so it is strong and bonds easily. I even was able to remove a peice before bonding complete to readjust then reapply without applying more glue. However the labeling can be a bit clearer- like how am i supposed to kow the type of plastic im gluing? the package claims it is not reccommended for certain types of plastic but nothing about how to identify them

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great all purpose adhesive I used the Dap Rapid Fuse on several different items n need of repair. I repaired a handle on my favorite mug. The hold was great, even after a few trips through the dishwasher. I repaired the seam on my husband's water boots. The boots are used in water and mud daily especially this time of year. He said the seal us still water-tight. He previously tried glue formulated for shoes and the hold only lasted a day or two. The Dap was much better. I noticed the Dap doesn't swell up after use and ooze out like the competitors brand. That is a HUGE positive. I plan to continue rouse this adhesive until the bottle is empty. Then I plan to buy more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than traditional super glue brand I recently had part of a license plate cover come off and wasn't sure how I was going to fix it. When I recevied this sample and it said that it worked for metal on metal, I was very excited to try it out! I opened the lid, squirted a small amount on, and put the two pieces of my frame together, it set up immediately! I also was happy to read that you can use it outdoor, so I wont need to worry about it coming off if it rains or snows while im in my car. I would definitely buy this again and will for sure be telling my friends about this option for all purpose glue.
