I would like to see how the DAP X-HOSE PRO works but I was unable to!. I hooked the hose up to the water source and heard a very loud "POP" (which also scared my two cats along with myself) - - the hose unraveled and water came out from about in the middle of the 50 feet of hose. The INSIDE BLADDER came off at the fitting - - needless to said no water came out of the fitting. WHERE CAN I SEND THIS OR TAKE THE HOSE FOR A REPLACEMENT? I am willing to try a NEW HOSE if you can replace this one for me. Home Depot said they did not carry this brand of hose.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Milan It's great, but doesn't last
Thank god for the life time warranty. As long as you have your receipt you can exchange it.
I got the 100ft one... it usually lasts for max of 6 months if you take proper care. Don't run hot water through it, it will burst. Don't use in winter, don't leave water in it, when done...keep in a shade place. It will last you sometime...but not a lifetime
Great idea and maybe through time they will get better. Not worth the $80+ for the 100 ft one...

This is the second one that didn't last 1 day. first one was a green one and the plastic connector cracked after the water was turned on for about 5 minutes... (Hose came out of the broken connector) I took it back and the sales person said that I should have spent the extra and got the black pro with the brass ends.... and of course since I didn't want the same hose replaced I had to purchase the second one also. OK, took it home put it on my shelf in my garage. 4 months later I took it out carefully followed the directions and it lasted about 10 minutes before it started spraying water about 3 feet from the connection... the hose wasn't even fully expanded yet. I called Xhose pro and was told the warranty was 90 days. But they would be happy to sell me another at a discounted price...No Thanks, so that's about 60 dollars I spent between the two hoses and not one squirt out of them.... save your money and buy a good conventional hose.

I bought a pocket hose last year. It worked well all last summer and then sprang a leak early this season. I love the maneuverability of the light weight hose, so I bought this one. I was watering (it was about the fifth time I used the hose) and then I wasn't. It was as if someone turned off the water. I started following the hose to the spout and came across an entire section where apparently the inner hose had simply exploded. Water was pouring through the the hose. I really wish someone would make a good, lightweight hose. This isn't it,

I only purchased one of these so I can't speak about all X-hoses but mine lasted for three plant watering uses over the course of a week and a half. Never again for this thing and I will think twice about other DAP products.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Roadnuts X-hose is Unreliable
Used the hose less than 10 times before it burst. Other reviews I have read tells me this product is highly unreliable.

Bought this hose last summer! Used it last summer, stored away for the winter. Used it twice this summer and the inside of the hose broke and is not repairable. How convenient that the warranty is only good for one year!!! Don't waste your money! While the concept is great, try to find a manufacturer who will stand by their product for more than one year!!

Concept = Phenomenal, but Implementation = Terrible.
Also, manufacturer does not stand behind their product (warranty).
Conceptually, this item is FANTASTIC.
Even after reading many of the negative reviews prior to purchasing, I just could not resist owning this.
Against my better judgement, I went ahead and bought it. I loved using it for the first few times and then bought one for my sister. I followed all of the recommended steps for preventing damage, as these hoses are obviously on the fragile side, but still, the hose burst in the 12th month of ownership after only about 6 uses.
Still under warranty, I called the manufacturer (800-647-2290) and they instructed me to send an email to email@example.com. To my amazement they responded to my email within 24 hours and told me that they will send me a new one. I've emailed them back 3 times within the last 4 weeks to check status and I continue to receive back a completely empty email from them. I have already conceded that the best I can expect out of this IS a new hose, which may only last for a year :( But it's certainly better than nothing, which is what I have now after my $40 purchase.
Maybe I should've paid more attention to the reviews I read prior to purchasing. Hopefully, one day, someone will come up with one of these that will be durable.
