CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 2.0 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Inexpensive 6" PVC wye tailpiece HPP9816/SKU #246113 is a 6" tailpiece for a 1 1/2" sink drain, not an 8" tailpiece like the title. (The other plastic tailpiece HPP9818/246144 is the 8" tailpiece). The dishwasher hose fitting is a ribbed 1/2" hose barb. It seems to be made well enough to last as long at the average dishwasher, about 6 or 7 years and I'd be surprised if it lasted less than 4 years or more than 12. Its a good value if it won't be your problem 7 years from now. If it might be, then the chrome plated brass tailpiece H814B-2/244491 would be a better choice for $7 more you won't have to replace it for roughly 30 years. September 7, 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pathetic I had to replace a twenty year old tail, made of metal. You can't find metal in the stores any more. Instead, you can only find cheap plastic. The old nut had rusted, but even still, it leaks more now with this new repair than the old rusted assembly. Why? Because it's cheap plastic that can't be tightened enough to provide a good seal. Maybe it's the way the washer was packaged: jammed into the tube so ti is permanently bent. Garbage. November 2, 2013
