In one photo , looking at overflow, you can see directly through the sink. In another (with fauce installed), it looks like it leads directly to drain. please confirm.

Answer:
It does lead directly to the drain, there is only 1 opening for the overflow into the drain. we did have another sink from another company that had an extremely LARGE opening that was almost around the entire drain. Honestly 6 sinks from the same company and we still had leaks. The Decolav sink, one opening straight to the drain, really works well!

Answer:
That is correct, if the lavatory is off set from the mirrored backsplash/wall, the arch (opening) will be visible in the reflection.

Answer:
The Decolav 1417-1-CWH is glazed on all sides. There are no wall mount holes present, but there is a visible 1.25" tall arch toward the bottom edge of the rear wall. This arch is meant to allow access to the faucet supply.

Answer:
Decolav's 1417-1-CWH square vessel is 22.38 inches wide x 18 inches deep x 6.125 inches high.
To mount this vessel with a vanity it needs to match the cutout dimensions of 18.1875 inches wide by 14.875 inches deep. Attached is the cutout template for this lavatory sink.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 2 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Really nice style, great look We ordered two of these Decolav sinks for our master bath. The design is really a nice design and style of sink. The basin slopes which is something that has an excellent look and function. Also I did not use the cut out sent with the sink. The bottom of the sink is flat, there are no areas that extend beyond the bottom of the sink. I figured as long as I have full drain and water supply access, make the cut out that size about 4x8" or slightly larger, so I did and it worked perfectly. I would rather have the support under the sink than cut that area of an area out using the template. So I made my decision to cut a lot smaller of an area. Works and looks great.. I use a double edge razor to shave so it is nice to have more water towards the front of the basin. I love this design better than the lower profile basins we had from another manufacturer. Price I thought was high for the sink, however price was not over the top. ONE SUGGESTION would be that Decolav include foam spacers for the bottom of the sink rather than having to use plumbers putty. It was awkward because plumbers putty doesn't really stick to the bottom of the sink so it slides around or the putty falls off while you are trying to install the sink. Nothing major though, however for probably 10 cents costs, why not include them with the sink? May 17, 2013
