Rated 4.9 out of 5 by 14 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It does what it is intended for. I bought a dogwood tree and a hydrangea bush for a northern nevada desert backyard topped with previous asphalt landscaping. Yes, the dogwood leaves were burned as soon as they budded, and the hydrangea wasn't even gonna try-it laid down. I staked them with these 14 inch (they are relatively small and so am I) watering stakes, and they made it through this last month of near 100 degrees. I used 4GPH drips through the stakes and I think (fingers crossed) that my dogwood and hydrangea will think they are in California--shhhh, that's what I tell them. This is karma for laughing at the restaurant that planted palm trees. At least mine are in my backyard where no one can see...yet. August 14, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great item for feeding trees. I purchase 12 each and were excellent. I installed the stakes per the instructions and had no problems. I use them to feed fertilizer into the roots of the tree. Three weeks later and now I am seeing some great results. I put fertilizer granules or liquid mix with water and I it work great. Use a fertilizer brand made for trees, My oak tree are budding and have produce new growth on the branches. Very satisfied with the product. They are also great for watering the roots. They are made of plastic and had no issue with them. August 5, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These work to give maximum water to a tree in an otherwise low water system These work to give maximum water to a tree in an otherwise low water system. Added to the drip system and just did several for a large jacaranda tree. December 9, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love deep watering Very happy that the stakes could be pounded in without breaking, as advertised. Some wouldn't go completely in so I hooked them up and tried again after running the water. I've only had them in a few hours, but I'm very optimistic about getting my trees the water they need and no longer encouraging weeds at the surface. July 29, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent product, easy to use online service, This is an easy to use, excellent product for conserving water with plantings September 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Drought Stakes! I use these with individual plants, vines and shrubs. We are not allowed to do any outdoor watering unless we use non-potable water. I hand water each plant by filling the stake and hopefully this will keep them alive until the rain comes! July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very well made I use it to deep water most of my trees and the additional growth is very noticeable. September 24, 2014
