Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great addition to anyone who owns a portable generator. I had to use this cord when Irene hit this last month. The quality of this cord is excellent. Having the option to add two more cords to equal 75' without losing any voltage is a plus when you don't want your generator close to the house. I recommend also getting the DEK240-Volt Twist Lock Adapter with this cord. Having the option to have 6 extra outlets to your generator is always a plus. Better to have and not need then to need and not have!!!! September 22, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick delivery, exactly what was required accurate description Have not actually used it but the connections fit. It is for transferring power from portable generator to the house at 240 volt. Hope its not needed but ready if power goes out. July 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by home owner I purchased this cord to connect a generator to an emergency power connection. The cord is well constructed and the neon lights in the cord assist in verifying power is present. This cord was less expensive than the components to construct a cord from scratch. February 5, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Well Made, bright color easy to spot The power cable is a better length than most I have seen. For safety purposes, the generator needs to be a safe distance from the house and in a protected area. The length of this cable provides better opportunity to meet these requirements. It is also quite sturdy and should stand up to usage. August 7, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Portable Generators Not much to say about a heavy duty extension cord other than to say it is of great quality. My rationale for purchase was two-fold. The first being I wanted to more my generator further from my garage where I have the plug-in. The second was I saw this cord a year ago and wanted to purchase, but did not want to invest the money. I caught it on sale for a good price and purchased. Now my generator is ready to go and hopefully will not need to put it to use, but living in NH I am sure it will see service yet this winter. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works Fine The generator cord that I ordered works just fine. It is heavy -duty. Well -made. And works great with the generator that I bought. August 28, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Heave Duty A heavy duty extension cord with 10g wire. End lights up when power is on. April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect "Extension" cord for a generator. I purchased two of these 4 prong cords so I could place the generator as far away from the living space as possible. It appears that 50' of #10 wire is about the limit for getting all of the power out of the generator, but there was little, if any, drop of voltage and amperage from the generator to the power transfer panels. I am using inline power meters on each phase and there was no difference between the 10' cord and these 2 - 25' cords connected in series. I did notice a little drop off when the two 25' cords were connected in series to the 10' cord. June 3, 2014
