Answer:
Yes, it sure will. In addition to the dado blade, you'll need a different Throat Plate, specifically a DeWalt DW7444, Type 2, which is specifically designed to accommodate dado blades for this saw. The reason I mention getting the "Type 2" throat plate is that it is the one with the black "twist lock", just like the originally-supplied throat plate.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Makes the job a pleasure I did the reviews before buying. This saw gives the power, accuracy and portability I wanted. The precision rail adjustment makes changes in cuts very easy. Home Depot delivered ahead of time and as promised!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best portable on the market at this time. I have now had the Dewalt DW744XRS for about a month and have a few hours under my belt with it. First off the Pros: The table has plenty of power, the rack and pinion fence rail is spot on accurate as well very easy to use. The riving knife has been a night and day difference for me, cant believe I have been cutting so long without one. Right out of the box I measured the accuracy with a digital caliper and was on within .005" which is easily acceptable to me. Cons: there were very few but hey I have to complain about something. I found the assembly to be a waste of time where as my old Ridgid was already to go out of the box. Don't get me wrong I won't be going back to my Ridgid any time soon. The second part is more of a "wish they would have" than a con. I wish this would come from the factory with the DW7441 Side and Outfeed supports as I have found them to be very helpful and well worth the extra $70 as I think most others would use them as well. Overall I would highly recommend this table saw as I have used several others and feel this is the best out for the money. Dewalt has been building some top quality power tools for years now and they havent stopped short on this one thats for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Build quality and best in class engineering These days paying a premium doesn't guarantee you'll receive a good product. Fortunately this is not the case with this DeWalt table saw. The build quality is second to none and after one use you'll know a lot of thought went into the design. Cuts are smooth and fast and measurements are a breeze. This saw will definitely compensate for its user's lack of skill and experience (which is important for me).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DW774XRS 10 INCH JOBSITE SAW WITH ROLLING STAND Awesome product for all reno needs, from splitting sheets of plywood, ripping dimension lumber accurately and making precision cuts. It delivers more than I expected. It's easy to use and very easy to transport and set up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Table Saw I bought this table saw because I wanted to get a portable table saw that can cut almost as well as a cabinet table saw. This one does, and it is very well thought out and easy to use. All the attachments are easy to take on and off. I can zero the blade in a minute. And the legs for the cart are extremely sturdy. It's pretty heavy to get in and out of the truck, but I knew that when I bought it. But rolling it around on the cart is sweet.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good features, great mobility, attachments go on and come off easily. Could use better organized instructions on use. I received this saw five working days after ordering on line. Went to my local Home Depot in another town to pick it up and everything went very smoothly. It took a little while to put everything together with the rolling stand the longest. The instructions sent with it could be a little vague if you don't have some mechanical ability but was overall for me not a problem. Mine came pretty well adjusted on everything from the factory. A couple of tweeks and it was perfect for me. I haven't used it a lot yet, but will be starting some large projects shortly. I did run it through all the practice cuts, angles etc. to check it out, and everything works as advertised. I replaced the 24 tooth blade that came with it, to a Diablo 50 tooth combination blade that I purchased when I picked the saw up. Will update this review in a couple of weeks after running it through the mill for awhile. Overall I don't see any problems arising that can't be adjusted easily. The rolling stand is an excellent feature of this set-up. It is very solid and well built. Everything on this stand works easily and quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Decent Product I initially purchased this product for the purposes of doing some home wood working, but was a little annoyed with all of the adjustments that needed to be made out of the box. For example, the gauge needed to be reset to 0 and the saw blade had to be calibrated to be 90 degrees. This is the second power too that I have purchased from Dewalt that had this issue. I wish they would calibrate these items before they shipped from the factory. It would probably take them a few minutes.
