Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Take it from a pro. It's the best Like almost everyone I ever seen in this my field which is carpentry I always used a 20 oz east wing. I developed carple tunnel and to downgrade to a 16 oz. but it just too light. Then I found the 12 oz dewalt. It's the last hammer I'll ever buy. 4 ounces lighter than my last east wing and when they claim that it hits like a 20 oz is dead on. Not a lot of finish hammers have the magnetic nail set which is good. Also the weight is great for my achy hands not to mention the less weight I'm carrying in my belt all day. It's the best hammer on the market hands down March 10, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Importance of a hammer. When I saw this hammer I sat at the store for a good while trying to pick out a hammer. Was the extra money really worth the hammer, after all it just needs to hit things in. I decided to get it. It turns out you never notice the importance of a good hammer. It's light wight yet still drives the nails in easily. The extra length is great leverage for removing nails. This is a great DIY hammer for all your needs. October 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Love the Hammer Hate the ring. I do a lot of siding replacement. This hammer has a horrible ring when it hits a cats paw or bar. If all you do is drive nails I definitely recommend this hammer. But if you do demo don't buy it. I even tried wrapping the neck with tape. No luck. October 19, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Hammer Good tools,i recommend use to my friends and the people September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by light weight I should have bought this hammer long ago. I passed it in the tool aisle 4 months. after losing my 16 ounce hammer the purchase of 12 ounce was justified. I'm an electrician who carries a tool belt all day around my waist. the difference of 4 ounces doesn't seem like much but makes a huge difference at the end of the day. the new Dewalt hammer says it strikes like a 20 ounce hammer hand it definitely packs a punch. I would recommend this hammer to anybody trying to lighten up there two bags without spending Plus $100 on a stiletto. April 8, 2015
