Can I store saw in a garage without any HVAC? I live in TX, and the temperature exceeds 105 degrees at times, so the garage temperature will be higher

It rarely goes below p freezing here, but it is possible. Also, are there any particular safety or maintenance things I should do to help preserve saw and cart, if leaving in garage unused for extended time periods? Sorry for easy questions. I am new to woodworking, and this is a big purchase for me.
Asked by: RouterEdgeGuideQuestion
It got very hot here in south east Michigan this summer and there were a few days the thermometer in my shop was at the 110 degree range and it didn't seem to hurt it, now it does get freezing cold here in the winter time but my garage/shop with no hvac generally stays around 45 degrees on the coldest days, I also have an attached garage. The temperature swings have never seemed to impact my tools, if you are concerned about it then maybe you could find a place to park it inside when it is being stored long term. Don't ever apologize for asking a question even if you feel it's easy or silly, being new to woodworking asking questions is how you learn, happy days making saw dust!

The DeWalt DWE7491RS is heavy weight competitor in the Job Site Saw category. With the stand this saw is a hefty 90 lbs making it stable for bulky and/or heavy work pieces. The stand is very sturdy but takes several steps to set-up compared to say the Bosch in the same category. I really like the rack and pinon fence as it allows for greater precision and faster set up. And, I like the 3 year warranty. Also, this saw does accept a dado stack. The on-board storage is lacking a place for the fence and a spare blade. Other wise I really like this saw. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I'm a weekend DIYer and I am in love with my table saw. It was easy to put the stand together and the saw worked well right out of the box. Unless you're already familiar with how to use this saw, I would suggest watching a few YouTube videos. I wasn't crazy about their instruction booklet.

Great value for the money, the only minus is the miter gauge wobbles a bit in the t slot (no bar adjusters on the included miter gauge so plan to invest in an aftermarket miter gauge if you need accuracy in your crosscuts). The portability is a plus, it's easy to move around from room to room as work is being done, or permanently mounted to a table if needed. Because the fence uses both front and rear rails locking is positive, but adding an outfeed table may require some effort... this is not a unisaw, nor are you paying for one. I've found the motor to have more than enough power with the included blade for both ripping and crosscutting standard construction materials; I've not yet tried to dado or cut exotics.

As context, I had one of those '70s Delta table saws with the cast steel top on a sheet metal base/legs. The fence was horrible and almost impossible to get repeatable dimensions on my cuts. The mobility of this saw, ease with which to set up, rack and pinion fence, and riving knife make it so much more better. If you are considering an upgrade and need the mobility and lack storage space, this saw is perfect. The saw blade was true to the throat out of the box. I trued the fence a little and now every cut is repeatable even after you move the fence. I'm not usually one for safety devices and believe you should just pay attention, but the riving knife is such a great benefit for work along the rip fence. It keeps the cut piece from binding against the blade so the cut edge remains perfectly smooth. So much improvement over my old saw. This saw is quieter than the old one. It has plenty of power. I had laminated plywood for a jig and it cut it without slowing.

Legs are easy to put up and easy to take down. Rip fence adjustment is sweet with the gears keeping the fence parallel to the blade. It’s like heaven!

Only thing I've noticed is the surface of table top is rough and hard to slide wood across the surface. It's not a huge problem just something I have noticed. Product is phenomenal, and I would recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Great saw, one defect in design. Spent a ton of time on this saw, about after 5 or 6 hours of use saw vibration will start to lower your blade, there is no lock for blade height. everything else on this saw is amazing i use it more than my cabinet saw.

Hi folks, I am a newbie woodworker, and ordered this to fit into a garage of varied projects. It was really straightforward to assemble, and is quite sturdy, I am female, and it is not too heavy to get the stand up and down, and I was able to complete assembly with no assistance, since the saw is a perfect weight. Out of the box there were only minor tweaks needed to adjust the fence. The blade was already at perfect 90, just needed to be tightened a bit. I would say an hour to assemble, and another hour to fully read directions and adjust. If you already know your way around a saw, it will be even simpler for you. I love this thing, since I can move it out of the way when the project needs change. If you are considering, no worries, just get it!
