Very unhappy with this compressor. The automatic shut off at 200psi didn't work on my unit, the line pressure regulator kept creeping up as much as 8psi after it was set and locked while I was using an air tool, and the compressor leaked about 5psi every few hours when not in use. Also it's very loud compared to other compressors. I returned this unit. I had purchased it because it was a small, compact design but it's a total disaster. The only good thing I can say is that it had decent power for its size but it was riddled with problems. Save yourself some time and money and buy a Husky.

Compressor is much quieter than my previous compressor. It takes a while to fill up tank, but does real well in keeping pressure once filled. Regulater tends to drift in adjustment so keep your eye on it. Very easy to use and move around. Met expectations

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Gus TOO LOUD!
I've had this compressor for a few weeks now. I really like Dewalt tools. I went with this compressor since it states 78 dBs. Got it home installation was easy, turned it on, and wow it's loud. Way louder than 78 dBs. Even my wife said it was too loud.
My friend got the 33 gallon Husky, which is rated at 78 dBs. The husky is way quieter. I hate to do this, but this unit is going back tomorrow. I'll be going with the cheaper Husky unit.
If it wasn't for the loudness, I would keep it.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Ronald Should have been painted lemon yellow instead of gold...
Failed after about 20 hours or use. The first problem was a gage started leaking; then, the belt broke. I had to take it about 60 miles for warrant service; it has been approx, a month and not fixed yet. I thought DeWalt stood for quality and did not do my homework. This unit cost about 60% more than others and turned out to be an epic failure. If you look at a Amazon, the rating of 1 & 2 stars for this model is 29% out of the 126 reviews,on DeWalt's page it only gets 3 of 5 stars out of 32 reviews a dismal 60%.

Great purchase! The air compressor I've been hoping for. Easy to use, but powerful enough to get the job done.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nathan Works As Expected!
The air compressor was simple to assemble, and works great! The large 15 gallon tank works well, and the compressor is able to keep up with almost all of my demands--except when I hook up an impact drill and have to spend more than 30 seconds on a rusty nut. But it refills relatively quickly, and I'm able to get back to work quickly.
It has also come in very handy to fill those pesky tire punctures. If I leave the chuck on the end of it, my wife and even fill her own tire!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by rkr7519 All the power you'll need
I have owned this compressor for over 3 years now...guess it's time for a review. I use nail guns, impact wrenches, a sand blaster, die grinder, ratchets and even paint small projects like riding mowers and attachments with a HVLP spray gun. It also travels easily - I can put it in the back of my truck by myself and have even rescued friends with flat tires on more than one occasion.
Unless you're planning to open an auto body or tire shop this compressor has you covered with more than enough power to run nearly anything the home shop or DIYer will ever need.
I haven't had the first problem with mine, and if it dies tomorrow I will go buy another without hesitation.
Very important - Follow the instructions for first use and let it run for 15 minutes with the tank drain open to break it in and ALWAYS drain the tank when finished so it doesn't rust out.
