Hi Hello, Yes they are! With the dividers removed, each comptment will measure:
side to side-5" front to back-10" top to bottom-4.25" The compartments are not perfectly square, so these measurements are of the largest square area.

Answer:
I bought the Dewalt Cantilever Tool Box on 1/31/16. It has two places that will accept a padlock. One for the lid, one for the bottom to prevent it from sliding open. I thought also to use a cable locking system like for a bike. I am an electrician, so I used the OSHA type lockout cable I use for the circuit breaker lockouts. I can draw it tight to secure.

Answer:
Hello Joe,
No the unit does not lock.
There are holes in the metal latches for the lid that you could put a padlock on but it would only lock the top lid. You would still be able to expand the other compartments.
Thank you for your question.

Hey Razordog Stanley makes a very similiar box. Model # 020800R. Pull them up in tabs and compare. Stanley does offer a tray part # H1300093. Do a search for Service Net. They handle parts for both brands. Punch part # into search.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good investment I worked in the carpentry/ remodeling industry most of my adult life. Seemingly, all my tools have been scattered between garage or basement. This tool Box was purchased with my plumbing tools in mind. With the pex technology and all of the copper fittings, this tool box is ideal Buy with confidence.

This is the best tool investment Ive ever purchased! there are very few choices when it comes to fine tool boxes on wheels..much less a cantilever design.. this works great for us as a locksmith..... especially on hospital and other commercial jobs... Well, Stanley owns dewalt. Stanley and dewalt make same tool box. Though stanley box is about $20 less, at this time $77 vs $94. I took look at both tool boxes and quality is about the same.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for what I need! I bought this to hold all my power tools. And let me tell you, it holds more than i imagined. The bottom box holds my PC 20V skillsaw, reciprocating saw, oscillating tool, jig saw, light, boom box, and 18ga nail gun. All with their batteries in and still has room to hold my drills. But they have their own place. Middle compartment holds a rotary tool. Several loose tools and other attachments. Lots of room there. The top compartment has plenty of room also. Im now at point where im looking for more tools just to fill it up. I dont mind that ot doesnt have a tray for the top. Not something that i need. Been using for about a month now and havent had any problems with handle or wheels. Everything seems to work great. I roll it through the yard as i work on DIY projects. Its tough enough for what i need it to do. Great buy! I will probably by another when this fills up.

I got tired of having to load up buckets and tool bags to try and have everything I need close by when I work on projects. I spent a lot of time walking back to my garage to get something I had forgotten. I found this item online and there was one in stock at my local store so I bought it. I only wish I had stumbled onto this sooner. I loaded it with my battery powered tools (drill, driver, reciprocating saw) and all of drill accessories, as well as some hammers and my oscillating tool and pry bars, squares, and other small items. This item is well organized and easy to use and has saved me countless steps, just in the last couple of weeks. I unfolds and rolls easily, although the clamps for the top are tight. It appears to be well made and because I take care of my tools I expect it to hold up for a long time. It suits my needs better some of the add on stackable solutions.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very strudy. This DEWALT Tool organizer, should be made of a better quality of material. I am actually getting ready to return it. It is not made well at all, the draw keeps wanting fall out. Which in turn it has broke the drawer completely. Which is a shame it was a prefect size for what I was using it for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I needed I got so tired of going in an out of the garage to get my toolbox and then return to the garage to get something else that I needed. Now I just wheel it all in and get the job done. It is so convenient that I tend to do an extra repair while I have it in the house. It is perfect for my needs!

I purchased this product about 3 months ago to store all my hand tools and a few power tools. I will say that the space and organization of the box was amazing for my needs as a plumber. However, the quality of this box is pure garbage. The first month using the box, everything went super smooth with the box. I was in love with it. In the 2nd month, the side lock bars broke completely off of the box and both wheels broke off. Now into month 3, the ball bearing rails refuse to work and the bottom portion of the box has multiple splits and cracks. The cracks are large enough for a framing hammer to fall out of. I recently removed the top and middle potions of the tool box, and threw out the bottom compartment. I use the top section to hold different drill bits and hole saws, while the middle section sits on a shelf to help keep PEX fittings organized. This toolbox is a waste of money for any working professional. It would be great for light duty use, but completely forget about it if you need a box to use daily.
