CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 25 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DeWalt makes the best in my opinion Great product--more powerful than I expected, and that's saying a lot because I always expect a lot from my DeWalt tools. June 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by A real circular saw After purchasing a competitor's weak battery-powered chainsaw, I was reluctant to buy this, but I needed the portability. I was amazed by its power. It cut through a 2" x 6" with ease. I don't feel like I am sacrificing anything but the cord. June 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quality Product I purchased this product because of price and it didn't come with a battery. I have numerous dewalt batteries and they interchange with this product perfectly. October 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Glad i bought it. I own several circular saws. They all have something in common; a cord that is always in the way. I bought this to make just a few little cuts and i was feeling too lazy to get an extension cord out and do all that rigga-ma-roll, and since the weather is not very nice today, i did not want to keep packing up all that stuff after each cut. I was expecting it to be a silly non-straight cutting pile of junk. I had used other circular saws that belonged to other people, which were always old cheap saws that you find at a bargain store. So when i first pulled the trigger after installing the blade (the wrench is in the handle.... brilliant!) i was expecting to hear slop and not be impressed. And at first i was not impressed, i felt the blade was spinning too slowly to do any good (glad i was wrong). So i guided it along my cut line on a 2x8 pressure treated board. I smiled. :) I made a few more cuts. I completed the little project i was working on. The battery had not died yet (my other battery was on charger anyway). If you are working on a construction site as cut man, get yourself a nice worm gear drive saw, if you are doing some fixer-upper stuff around the house, get one of these (if you already have the 18v ni-cad batteries and chargers for other tools especially; if i did not already have these i would have gone with li-ion battery tool) January 25, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by weak saw with weaker battery It's a well made saw with a lot of features, but I wouldn't get another cordless. The battery will last for about 6-7 cuts through 2x4s, and it sounds like its going to die the whole time. I plan on returning it. April 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Saw I really enjoy this saw. The battery last long enough to suit my needs on most projects. Not having a cord to deal with saves time and I can concentrate on the cut without worrying where the cord is. The saw is well balanced and feels comfortable while making cuts. The manual is vey thorough and informative. I like the fact that the saw comes with an allen wrench attached to change the blade, no searching for the right tools to make changes. Delivery of the product was very fast. January 22, 2011
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Saw We got this saw for small DIY projects around the house and so far it has worked great. No issues and the battery life has been better than I first thought it would be. It is also much lighter than my old saw which means my wife can even use it. September 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product has power like a wired saw Highly recommend for DIY people. Handy, no wires to deal with, plenty of cutting power, uses all the old DeWalt 18V batteries you use for your other tools May 22, 2012
