Good light output, easy to hold, and no cord to drag around. Just grab it and go. Especially good for damp or wet areas where a corded light might pose an electric shock hazard. The only complaint I have is that the light does not provide an indication that the battery charge is getting low; it runs steady until the battery gives out, and then you're suddenly in the dark. That's usually just an annoyance for me, but I go prepared with another charged battery or a backup flashlight if getting left in the dark would leave me in a bad way.

I've had this light for about year and use it several times a week . it has been dropped a half dozen times from distance of 3 feet, and it keeps working. It will work several hours on single charged battery. I highly recommend this light

Every DeWalt product I own has been very reliable. This light gives good coverage and have dropped this a couple times with no breaks.

Works great for a small to medium work area. Light weight, has a hook to hang up. The light will last 8 plus hours on one battery. Great buy for the price, I wished dewalt made an led 18volt light.

Great light for broadcasting light to a large area. I use it in the attic most often. No, it is not the brightest light, but it was not made to be a spotlight. Dewalt makes another light, commonly included in discounted kit packages (which I have), for that purpose. I saw a review from 2011 that said the replacement bulbs are hard to find. Maybe then, but now you can find them easily on Amazon for about $10. Unless you drop the light and break the bulb, I do not think the average homeowner will need a new bulb more than once every 5 years or so. I also saw another reviewer who said he had trouble using the XRP batteries with this light. They work just fine in my light, so I do not know what the issue could have been there.
