In any event, the 120 v charger does the job pretty quickly, usually within an hour, so it's not necessary to try to force any greater speed out of the charging regimen.
Best advice: always have a battery on charge when using the drill or any cordless tool. The batteries don't give a lot of warning that they're running low, so just have one charging whenever you're using the drill and you'll never run out of juice.

Contractors, When I purchased a large quantity of wood for building a deck I was told that my wood cost was put into a basket and I was given a better price on my wood because I bought so much. Stop at the Pro Desk and talk to a Pro Manager and they will explain the program to you. They are great people to work with.
Hope this helps answer your question, When in Doubt Go to Home Depot on Line.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Purchase As a contractor, I use nothing but DeWalt and never been disappointed. I purchased two of these kits as gifts for friends who do not purchase DeWalt drills and are always complaining about their choice but claim that DeWalt is too rich for their blood. They both are very happy and believers now in that you get what you pay for. When I told them what I paid they couldn't believe it. Thanks Home Depot for the excellent price and thanks DeWalt for the excellent quality.

Could not be more pleased as I actually purchased this one to replace one that was stolen exactly like it. I would have given it 5 stars if it had come with the 18 volt extended run battery's. I have bought several different dewalt tools all in the 18 volt so they could share the common battery and all have came with the extended run battery except this drill which came with two standard battery's which i was un-aware they were even still making. The standard battery has less than half the life of the extended run battery not to mention the ion batteries. Basically useless batteries which have to be set aside and purchase more of the extended run ones which all got stolen. Really ruined the purchase for me. If you are going to sell the drill with the junk batteries put it in big letters "drill is basically worthless until you buy the etended run battery"!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Drill I've owned this drill and 2 batteries for 3 years. The drill has taken a few drops, some paint splashes, dirt, wood putty and looks less yellow every year due to abuse. I recently installed 400 ft of stockade fence with this drill switching between predrilling holes and driving screws, it never skipped a beat. With the two batteries and quick charger, by the time one battery dies, the other is charged. Granted, these batteries don't hold a charge as long as the XRP, they are still great. I would highly recommend this product. It's a bummer it no longer comes with a hard case, but that shouldn't stop you.
