Answer:
It has a regulator to set the line pressure you want. But it will always pump the tank up to 200 psi before it shuts off.

Answer:
I've used mine several times with a framing gun. Keeps up fine for framing walls, headers, etc. I'm going to guess that sheeting walls or a roof would likely push this compressor to it's limit or beyond.

Answer:
Framing gun should work fine. Impact tools take the most demand like the person that asked about removing lug nuts. Most small compressors can't handle the load needed to remove lug nuts. Usually 4.0 cfm or more at 90 psi needed for that.

Answer:
Yes, but not for more than 10-seconds at a time. I own this air compressor and use it with a pneumatic cutting wheel, and it works well for small cutting jobs, but I'd suggest a larger tank for longer run time.

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 31 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Yep, it's quiet and effective. The compressor is an impressor; tank and valve gauges, good sized tank with a handy tank drain, and much quieter than most others. Keep in mind that average conversational speech volume is around 63-65db and decibels are somewhat logarithmic, 71db is louder...but the 81+ db of other compressors is REALLY loud. If you're using it for a nailer, you should be wearing ear protection any way. Another nice feature is that you can hang in on a wall, too. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by SO FAR EXCELLENT !!!!!!! GREAT SIZE, EASY TO MOVE AROUND WITH OUT WHEELS. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Flooring job Quiet and easy to transport. The two outlets allallowed a floor nailer and hand nailer to be used without any disconnect. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet Lightweight Awesome air compressor. Lightweight, quiet and plenty of power for my nail gun. Two outlet connectors are very handy. Controls easy to use. Highly recommend it. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly quiet and compact for it's capacity I purchased this compressor to replace a smaller unit in my studio. I use the compressor to run a small pneumatic die grinder, as well as multiple airbrushes. I was concerned that it would be too loud in my studio, but it's about as quiet as the airbrush compressor that it replaced, and it fits nicely next to my workbench. I've also used it to run a brad gun during the remodeling of the studio, and it worked great! It is small and light enough that I will also probably end up using it in my wood and metal shop to replace the much larger shop compressor. December 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect solution for my lifestyle. Downsizing from a larger compressor but this one meets every need in a more compact, lightweight design. A lot quieter than my old unit as well. October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product Quiet and efficient. Also lightweight and easy to move. September 27, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Compressor The quietness is what really surprised me. I usually had to stop talking when my old compressor would start up. Not this one though. Very happy with this purchase. August 30, 2016
