Answer:
This drill can definitely do the job. But, you have to let the drill do the work. It can not be forced or hurried. Allow the tool to work at its own pace and don't let it get in a bind or you can ruin it!

Answer:
I would guess that it would... but I can't say for sure. That's a pretty large hole-saw-- I also wouldn't know how many holes it could cut that size before killing the battery. The drill drives long screws with ease ( 3-4 " into plywood/framing) . Hope this helps.

Answer:
Very normal.
It has an electric brake on the motor in the back, so you don't have to wait on it to stop spinning. This also is what causes those tiny sparks you sometimes notice in the rear vent.

Yes. If you run the drill (free turning) and release the trigger, the drill will stop rotating pretty much instantly, with a "clack" sound..

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dewalt drills Drill chuck fails to hold bits purchase not worth it October 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I Great drill I had the previous model until Grandson broke it. This drill is 60 dollars more than the one on sale at Christmas, but is worth the extra money. My old drill the Chuck kept loosening up and my bit holder would be on the ground. This Chuck tightens with ease and holds tight. I have had Dewalt for years and battle with my brother a firm Makita user. Dewalt performs every bit as well with extra dollars to spend on more toys. September 14, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So easy to use Powerful but strong. Small so fits easily in my hand August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by He loves it! He said it's lighter, more powerful, and all around better than his old Dewalt. July 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just the tool for the job. This drill is very easy to use and the batteries recharge really quickly. I have another drill same brand but not a Lithium-ion , this one recharges faster. June 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good tool Used this tool for drilling into 2x's and it does a good job. Battery has lasted a long time without needing a recharge. I am thoroughly impressed with this tool. May 31, 2016
