I recently switched to this Dewalt toolbox from a tool bucket organizer. This thing is perfect for all the around-the-house essentials. It has adequate storage and then some. Also, it's pretty heavy duty plastic. Time will tell if it holds up, but for now I'm more than satisfied.

Pretty impressive for the price. It's NOT one of those cheap flimsy plastic ones that won't close nicely. It's also more square, so it doesn't taper towards the bottom. There is a gasket, I'd leave it in the back of the truck in the rain, but it's not going to be dunk-able. Very nice latch, it works without thinking about it. If I had one complaint, it's that the inside tray could be made with the same construction as the shell. The tray is slightly flimsy, but not really a big deal. For under 20 bucks, fantastic overall.

I had this box for a year and the handle broke from the box. Maybe it was because it was a hot day and I had all my tools in it but very disappointed since I loved how much it could hold. The tray was about a third of the size which I found to be of use. I really loved this box but I don't want to worry if it'll happen to another. So now I'm searching for a lifetime box.

Good overall plastic tool box. I bought this to store my Dewalt router and router accessories. Without a bit in the chuck, the Dewalt router sits perfectly in the box. The plastic accessory tray is very small, but large enough to fit a few of the key accessories that come with any router. There is plenty of extra space in the box for my collection of router bits. I like the overall look of the box and it seems to be the right solution to the issue of buying a router that didn't include a case.

I have the larger 32" one of these tool boxes made by Stanley, before Dewalt bought them out and relabeled them Dewalt. I mounted the box on the front of my Gator UTV so I could have quick access to tools and the special hardware I use at the farm. The box was excellent but it had two latches and I constantly left one unlatched to save time opening the box - not very pretty. It seems like a trivial point but it is a pain to latch and unlatch the normal toolbox closures. Whenever I forgot to latch at least one side, when I would drive off the wind would blow the lid open. This new design solves both problems. It has only a single latch and it opens with just a touch and latches closed automatically. Why didn't someone think of this earlier?
p.s. The box is rugged structural plastic, not like most plastic tool boxes that you can flex with your hands. The tool tray is a little wimpy though.

Very Well Made & Sturdy. Purchased for replacing an approx.: 20 year old plastic tool box that the hinges & latch down clasps were wearing out & cracking.

I have owned this box for over 2 years and it has held up well. I use this particular box for my gauges and measuring tools and has protected them well.

This toolbox is perfect. The amount of storage space it has is wonderful, and it is built tough. I was a little eerie about getting a plastic tool box with a latch, but I am happy I did because it works better than I expected. It also protects all of my tools when I have to use them in the rain because the seal is nice and tights. The toolbox is very durable, and can hold a lot of tools meaning it can withstand holding lots of weight. My box probable weights a good 50 pounds give or take, and the latch holds strong no matter where I throw it. This toolbox also serves as a good step stool as well because it can hold a lot of weight on top of it I weigh 200 pounds and it holds me just fine.
