Answer:
There are almost no tool boxes that are water tight. They are only water tight relative to a sprinkle not immersion.

24 in. Tote with Power Tool Case is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 71.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Did doesn't close easily, pops open. The lid is the problem. Unless you have the flimsy things adjusted just right when you close it, the latches pop open. The lid is also flimsy, you wouldn't want to sit on this toolbox, for example, unless you only weigh 50 pounds.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good box for drills The only reason this item doesn't get 5 stars is the fact that it arrived with the carry handle broken. You could tell it was packaged that way since there was no visible damage to the box it was packaged in. Very disappointed with Home Depot on that fact. Since I live 120 miles from the nearest Home Depot, I repaired the case myself with some strap metal. Other than that the box is well designed and very functional for drills and impacts.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Great It worked great for my power tools in the top and others in the bottom. I like that you can seperate the two pcs and only take what you need. Big complaint! After reading the reviews some said their tools didn't fit. I actually had to go to the store and measure the INSIDE before buying becuase nowhere does it state the inside dimensions. Not just this product but none of them. I even looked on Dewalts website with no help! It's nice to know the overall outside dimensions, but people use these to put stuff in, so the inside is more important for specific needs. By the way the top section is about 4" deep. Well made and does the job nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great box I looked at this for several weeks before actually purchasing. I was not fond because it is Dewalt, but I finally bought it. I am really glad I did. Unlike other buyers, I do use it for power tools. Here is a list of what I have in it: 1-18v Ridgid X4 drill/driver/hammer drill with two batteries and a charger and T handle, 1-18v Ridgid X4 impact drill with batter and charger, 5 uni-bits, 1 Ridgid case with 21 drill bits, and two large ridgid accessory kits for the drills. It still has a lot of room left for other accessories as well. Really impressed with the space it has in it. Works perfect for a cordless drill box. I actually might buy another one for other tools. As a tool hoarder, I really like this box!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Decent box for the price, but when will we see better organization? I'm giving this box a 3-star rating because - well, it's average - but I would give almost ALL of the toolboxes offered here 3-stars. One key design flaw with just about every box I've looked at, is poorly designed ORGANIZATION. These manufacturers should consult with actual journeymen before designing these useless things. They are perfect for storing household tools, like hammers and drills, pry bars, etc... but as a finish-carpenter, I hate to pile all of my tools in a big mess, and hide it underneath a tray. When will somebody step up and start allowing for seperation of common things, like skillsaws, jigsaws, maybe a place to hold some sawblades??? How about a safe way of transporting chisels, handplanes, and handsaws? Most decent carpenters use these key-tools daily, and have come up with our own ways of mcgivering toolboxes or simply building our own, has no company realized this??? All in all, this particular box fit my needs, because the 24" length fits both of my japanese saws. I was able rig-up a decent way of storing all three of them in the underside of the lid, which is nice as it allows me to still use the rest of the space in that top compartment. Again, average toolbox - but the same feelings I have about almost all of them on the market.
