CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 12 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tape measure review Actually I bought one of each manufacture and settled on the Dewault 16' and 25' 1 1/8 versions. Standout is 10', the hold button is easy to use. The 1 1/4 version uses a different blade and is hard to use. You can write on this blade. The size and weight are good. The end catch is configured so you can hook material from the side of the blade. FatMax doesn't do that. Overall this was the best tape measure for me. I found the 2 pack for about 20. Tested Dewaut Pro, Milwaukee, Stanley, FatMax, FatMax with magnet. I wish mine had a removable magnet for ladder work and working with steel. May 6, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Poor quality, didn't last 3 months! I purchased these tapes because it seemed like a good deal for $20. Well, the 25 ft. started acting out after a few days. Return mechanism wouldn't pull the tape back and I had to push it inside manually. After 2.5 months the brake doesn't work anymore. I would expect a better tool from Dewalt. Well, it comes with the lifetime warranty. Let's see what the manufacturer is going to tell me. January 16, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great product great buy, will keep buying them. The product is light and perfect size July 15, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fractional tape measures I've always needed a fractional tape measure that has all the fractions on the bottom opposite the inch marks for measuring. These are long enough and lightweight enough for me to handle. Originally got the FatMax but these are better suited to my needs. Gave the FatMax to my carpenter. July 1, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 Garbage! Absolute garbage! These are both equally bad products. I, for some reason decided to purchase these instead of the Stanley Fat Max, it was a horrible decision. The locks are both useless, and for two different reasons. One can't be pushed down and the other doesn't actually lock the tape. May 27, 2013
