No problems after 3 months. Have been running various nailers and staplers. Tank fills quickly. Not the loudest compressor I've used. Seems very sturdy but not too heavy to lift into vehicle on occasion. Since purchasing, have run into couple crews that have been working with this compressor for a while. Recommended.

Easily runs a few framing guns or roofing guns, or many trim guns. Heavy but not that bad to move around. Pretty quiet for a compressor of it's ability. Keep the tank drained after use, as you should with any compressor and it should serve you well. Well priced for what you get. If you buy just one compressor and need it to do everything, this is the one you should look at.

My old Porter Cable pancake compressor was getting old and worn out so I found this new Dewalt compressor and decided it was perfect, more capacity, more pressure and it had wheels to transport it around ( at 83 lbs I'm sure glad) . It is so much quieter than the old pancake, I don't mind it now when it starts up.

I only gave it one star because when I look at reviews, I always look at the most critical first. I figure other people might do the same. I actually never even turned the thing on to see how it ran. As you can see by the attached pictures, I intended to run it in the upright position due to how my garage is built and where I already had my hose reel. I didn't see the warning label on the display model or I wouldn't have bought it in the first place. I think the reasoning is because in the upright position, the tank fill fittings are closest to the bottom and thus would allow moisture accumulation to go back down into the compressor and gauges. Another thing, the display model boasted the flat free solid rubber tires which I was excited about since I have one on my wheelbarrow. When I got mine home and unboxed, it had tube tires on it. I'm returning mine.

i run a small construction company. and try to own 2-4 of every tool we use on a regular basis. so i own a few compressors. i bought this style about 2 years ago and was at first very happy. it had good wheels, was heavy but portable. and could run 2 roofing guns it never shut off but it could run them. it was about 5 months then the thing popped one day and never worked again. had an extended warranty and exchanged it. three days later the wheels flew off new one i slapped them back on but never was quite right. then another month the regulator leaked so i took it back again and grab the third one. all on my extended warranty. about 9 months went by and the thing stopped making air ran like nearly normal loud as could be but never built pressure. i was about to take it back a 4th time and demand money back but it was stole by evil thieves before i got around to it instead. thank you insurance.
over all i think it could be a decent product i know a few other companies that own one and use it like all is great. but 70% of what they use is battery power nailers. if you need something for light regular use it can work. heavy use it's a be sure to buy the extended warranty you will need it

Turned it on and let it get up to pressure. When it reached 200 PSI the release valve opened and it started back up again. Did that about 4 to 5 times before release valve finally stayed shut and allowed the 200 PSI to stay in tank. I thought I was going to have to take back to store. Did the roof on my house and it worked fine thanks

I have used this product on several roofing jobs and framing. This compressor is very quiet and recovers quickly even with two nailers being used.
