Bought this on 2/9/2017 and it broke yesterday 6/12/2017 -- four months old. We are doing home improvement projects and we have not used it daily -- maybe for a week at a time, a couple times over the last four months. It struggled to start in the colder months as others have described but would eventually kick on so we thought maybe it just needed a little time. Yesterday it started up but then just quit working mid-project and we couldn't shoot nails. Nothing we could do to get it to turn on; plugged it into a heavy duty generator and our home outlet. I wish it had been more reliable.

It worked nicely for about 2 weeks then seized up. I checked the oil on it regularly so things like this wouldn't happen! Piece of junk. Buy something else.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not impressed with big name brand From first use bleeder valve won't shut off so it's very loud. Then days into using it lightly motor would trip the reset every few cycles. Very frustrating when your on a roof and have to climb down. Will be returning it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Replacement Compressor I was looking for a new portable air compressor to take to the job site and found this unit to be well built with reasonable amount of noise to speed in refilling the two air tanks

Rated 1 out of 5 by from junk This compressor is junk, it will not work in the cold, takes forever to get started in the morning. while using it, it will not kick on until it is to low on air to shoot nails, then you have to wait for it to fill back up. for the size of this compressor, that should not be happening. i do not recommend this compressor at all.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid So Far, But Needs 20 Amp Circuit Thought I was doing something wrong though I was careful about following set up and break in instructions. Bottom line, she'd clearly start slow and cold and likely as not - would trip the built in overheat switch. Tried re-setting and powering up, but the switch would trip again. If I released all the pressure that was already in the tank, it *might* run correctly and build up to full pressure. Long story, I know. Friend suggested that even though the compressor is rated for 15 amps, I might try a 20 amp circuit. Problem solved. Been performing great since then, but I had to learn a lesson first.
