Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by rashton Wouldn't bother with this tool. I got it on sale and it's still not a good deal. I have a Makita compact driver with a $20 dimpler attachment and it works much better. Granted it costs a lot more but it can also do more than just hang drywall. In a world of good long-lasting cordless tools the corded option is annoying. The tool becomes unplugged at the worst possible times, so much so that I have now zip-tied it to an extension cord. The screwdriver itself is poorly balanced. I'm stronger than average, but I find my wrists and hands get fatigued very quickly holding this tool after just a few sheets of drywall. And like too many tools these days, the switch is far too easy to engage and I often find I've accidentally turned it off or switched it into reverse. Plus it's long, bulky design means it's less than ideal for getting into tight spots. For the price it gets the job done, and it beats my old drills, but compared to other alternatives it's just not worth it.

This is an exceptional tool. I have put up alot of drywall with this screwgun. Never had a problem with it. Have changed the bit once. Highly recommended.

Bought it for a small dry wall job my son was helping with. had reservations at 4,000 rpms but it said it was variable speed. it was only variable in the unlocked throttle position. Thought it would be good to be able to automatically set the depth which it was but 4,000 rpm is unmanageable, If it would lock at a lower RPM it would have been great. My 18 volt cordless I already had was much easier. It got returned . May try the 2500 RPM next for a metal roof.

I will preface this review by saying I have never used a drywall screw gun before.
I bought this because I thought it would be more effective than my drill with a bit attachment for putting screws into drywall, but it wasn't.
The magnetic tip was ineffective and the bit rounded out screws. The gun is not well balanced and there is no clip to hang the gun for quick easy access.
Perhaps it's just a lack of experience. However, I spent 3 days practicing on 3/8" drywall on 2×3 and 2x4's with no success. Returned the item.

Cost me about $100 and was worth every penny. I am an average DIY'er and have not done much drywall work but the screwgun made the install really fast. I usually work alone and when putting up 4x8 sheets it really helped to get it screwed down fast.
