I have not owned this compressor long enough to give it an honest rating, however i will say that I am a fan of the Dewalt products and @ this point i am very please with how well it holds pressure and how little vibration it has, a little loud but of course I do have it inside my shop for protection and longevity of lifespan. I researched many different brands, some cheaper, some higher, but for the money range I wanted to be in and as a professional@ what I do, I believe this will prove to be a very high quality product.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hauss High Quality Product - Excellent Online Service
I had been looking to purchase a 60gal vertical compressor for a few months and my research and general preference led me to the DeWalt compressor. After a brief online chat session with a customer service representative with Home Depot, a price match offer was achieved and the product was ordered. Shipping was fast and pick-up was easy. The compressor has since been deployed and works flawlessly so far.

I bought this expecting a quality product, but the unit I received leaked both out of the cheap drain valve, and out of the top fitting on the tank. It would not hold pressure overnight. I returned it to the store. Shortly after I realized the expensive Dewalt unit has the identical pump, motor, pressure switch, and output as the much less expensive husky, and porter cable models. The difference is a slightly different tank, however they are all A.S.M.E. rated so it's unclear where the benifit is. If you want a in-stock box store compressor, the porter-cable has a metal belt guard and cost less than $500, while having identical output, to me a much better buy.
I replaced the Dewalt with a Puma PK6060, also through home depot, and there is no comparison. The Puma is much much quieter, and unlike the Dewalt, it actually holds pressure more than a few hours. Also Puma included quality brass ball valves on the output and the drain, where Dewalt gives you nothing on the output, and a miserably cheap drain valve. The Puma belt guard is much nicer than the cheap plastic Dewalt guard, and the Puma design includes a long thick copper tube surrounded with heat-sink from the pump to tank, helping decrease temperature and moisture. That same tube on the Dewalt was too hot to touch after running only a few minutes. The Puma was cool to the touch after 15+ minutes of running.
It must be said that HomeDepot was excellent though the entire process. The no hassle return of the Dewalt gave me the confidence to order the Puma through them, and I'm glad I did. The price was only slightly more than the Dewalt (~$20), which was the best price with shipping I could find online.
My recommendation if you have around $650 to spend, is the Puma (PK6060), the quality is hard to beat at that price. If you were thinking about the Dewalt but thought it was a little pricey, or for whatever reason actually need 155psi vs the Pumas 135psi, the same compressor can be had for over $150 less with a husky, porter cable, or several other brand names using the identical pump and motor,(MAT Industries makes them all).
