Rated 5 out of 5 by from wonderful accessory to my power tools The radio/charger was better than I expected. Heavy duty power cord so you can plug other tools in to the radio's built in 110 volt outlets. The charger has a door that covers the battery, so it won't fall out if you move the radio around. The sound from the radio is really good.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Overall really good purchase. We had researched, read a ton of reviews, etc the different heavy duty radios, finally settling on the Dewalt. We had full intentions of returning if it didn't live up to our expectations, but it has been great. We take it camping & to the river where we had never gotten reception & have enjoyed music for hours. The battery lasts for hours & hours. We have hooked up our laptop to it to enjoy the speakers while we watch a movie outdoors camping. Good purchase!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Terrible Sound Bought this because all of my tools are Dewalt and love to listen to the radio while I work. I was truly disappointed by the poor sound. As someone put it, "sounds like the music is playing underwater", not clear at all. Very surprised Dewalt would put out a product like this as i've always found their power tools to be well built?? The charging capibility is great, the extra plugs is a good idea although i'm not sure i would ever use them. I wanted this for some time and even considered changing out the speakers myself but at the end of the day, the extra costs just didn't make sense since this radio is $150 as is. I will be taking it back and possibly getting the Milwaakee as the reviews were good on it.
