Compressor runs and makes air but is much louder than expected. Louder than any two stage compressor I have ever heard. My brother has the exact same compressor, a different color with different name on it, but the same one and it is very quiet. Just a little swish, swish... this is so loud you can't hold a conversation while it is running. I followed all the directions and ran if for 30 minutes unloaded to break it in. Not sure what the difference is...
I need to adjust the pressure switch as it shuts off a little prematurely at around 160 psi, but will go from 0 to 160psi very quickly. Overall, performance is as expected as far as making air goes... it is just really loud.

I've only been using this compressor for about a week now. So far it has met my expectations. The primary reason I bought it was my 27 gallon compressor could not keep up with the air needed to run my sandblasting cabinet. The Dewalt 80 gallon compressor keeps up very easily and only has to refill probably every 10-15 minutes. It is important to note that if you're going to sandblast or paint with this compressor that it does produce a lot of moisture and you should build a condensation system and use a dryer filter. I made my condensation system out of 1/2 inch copper pipe and ball valves. You can find designs for them on Youtube.

Picked up the compressor, installed it and less than 30 days it quit working. Nobody in this area would come out to work on it so we troubleshot the problem and call warranty to get some help with it. They wanted us to pay shipping on the part and not pay us for fixing it. 2 weeks later and it is still tore up and we have made several calls to the warranty dept. only to be told that they are working to get it fixed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bronco Great all round compressor
This will be the last compressor you buy. I can do all my auto and carpentry tools with this. Also air up tires. It has worked great even in cold weather in my shop. Around 5 degrees so far and starts up great. Only thing I haven't tested it on is little sand blasting off rust from my projects.

This is a well designed and built 5 HP 2 stage compressor. I have looked at numerous ones to replace my existing old Craftsman 5HP 2 stage (made by DeVilbiss). This is a great upgrade.

Ordered online and picked it up at store it was in good shape and they loaded it on my trailer with a fork lift . That was good it weighed in at 475 lbs have help to un load it.
Had to buy 60 amp breaker.
Wire 8 gage.
It pulls 58 amps on start up then levels off at 22 amps.
Ran it for 30 min brake in time like instructed.
I have had no problems and it has worked great.
It is nice to have regular/pressure gauge on the unit and protected.
Noise level is average

I reviewed the other 3 reviews for this compressor before I purchased it. The only thing I wasn't satisfied with his net the oil was slightly low, had to add some. the compressor was bigger than I thought it was going to be, you better have some help when it comes time to move it. The compressor runs, is nice and quiet and maintains all the air my plasma cutter could ever want. the two quick disconnects come already mounted on the machine. I was even able to reseat the bead on a tire using two airlines, that just shows the amount of volume this compressor is capable of outputting. much quieter than an oiless compressor and cheaper to run than my gas sullaire. Would definitely recommend for anyone who needs high volumes of air.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by gwallace45 Great Value and quality!
After a bunch of research, I purchased this compressor for a couple of reasons. 1. Price per CFM. 2. Rated for commercial use. 3. Trusted Brand recognition.
The discounted price that Home Depot offered online for this unit made the decision easy. It arrived in perfect shape is well packaged and is a solid, heavy duty compressor. It is louder than my old single stage 3.2 hp 60 gallon Husky and probably 3x heavier. It is exactly what I was looking for for under $1500.
