Thank you for your recent inquiry with The Home Depot. I believe it would be best to reach out to the manufacturer for assistance. The manufacturer is DEWALT, and their customer service department can be reached at 800-433-9258.

Answer:
The -1 version of this compressor doesn't have the Gage's and plumbed outlets one the plate under the compressor. Basically it is a cheaper alternative that leaves off a few things.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 15 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very satisfied with the process and the product The product is as advertised. It appears to work well with no known operating issues. One thing to be mindful of: the compressor came full of oil in the crankcase; make sure the oil is at the half way mark in the sight glass. If there is too much oil in the crankcase the compressor will be damaged. I had to drain out half of the crankcase to get the oil to the specified amount. July 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by DeWalt 80 gal compressor This air compressor was a good buy. It's not the quietest but it works great and vibration is minimal. Tank fills up in a reasonable amount of time. Overall very happy with this compressor. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So Far So Good. I've only been using this compressor for about a week now. So far it has met my expectations. The primary reason I bought it was my 27 gallon compressor could not keep up with the air needed to run my sandblasting cabinet. The Dewalt 80 gallon compressor keeps up very easily and only has to refill probably every 10-15 minutes. It is important to note that if you're going to sandblast or paint with this compressor that it does produce a lot of moisture and you should build a condensation system and use a dryer filter. I made my condensation system out of 1/2 inch copper pipe and ball valves. You can find designs for them on Youtube. June 9, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by A Little Disappointed Compressor runs and makes air but is much louder than expected. Louder than any two stage compressor I have ever heard. My brother has the exact same compressor, a different color with different name on it, but the same one and it is very quiet. Just a little swish, swish... this is so loud you can't hold a conversation while it is running. I followed all the directions and ran if for 30 minutes unloaded to break it in. Not sure what the difference is... I need to adjust the pressure switch as it shuts off a little prematurely at around 160 psi, but will go from 0 to 160psi very quickly. Overall, performance is as expected as far as making air goes... it is just really loud. April 22, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great compressor for a great price I purchased this compressor on sale. The product is exactly what I was looking for. I had mine shipped to the store. A friend had one shipped to his house. Biggest word of advise would be to thoroughly inspect item before accepting. They broke the first one that was shipped to the store. My buddy had 3 shipped to his house before he got one undamaged. June 1, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by don't buy online Picked up the compressor, installed it and less than 30 days it quit working. Nobody in this area would come out to work on it so we troubleshot the problem and call warranty to get some help with it. They wanted us to pay shipping on the part and not pay us for fixing it. 2 weeks later and it is still tore up and we have made several calls to the warranty dept. only to be told that they are working to get it fixed. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great all round compressor This will be the last compressor you buy. I can do all my auto and carpentry tools with this. Also air up tires. It has worked great even in cold weather in my shop. Around 5 degrees so far and starts up great. Only thing I haven't tested it on is little sand blasting off rust from my projects. January 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great compressor This is a well designed and built 5 HP 2 stage compressor. I have looked at numerous ones to replace my existing old Craftsman 5HP 2 stage (made by DeVilbiss). This is a great upgrade. January 19, 2016
