Customer Questions & Answers

Is this stand compatible to use with the portable DW745 table saw?

Asked by: LT23
YES. The saw mounts on clamps that can easily be removed from the stand. (The mounts have rubber footings) This means that you could buy extra mounts and use it for a miter saw stand too.

What is the height of the "stand"?

I know the description says 36", but is that the top of the stand or the height of the top of the saw after mounting? It would seem if that if it's indeed 36" and your average saw is 12" to 13" inches high, this stand is way too tall.
Asked by: Frank
Fully assembled this stand measures 22" high and needs a high profile table saw to be able to use it comfortably. Most 10" and 12" table saws should work but its not tall enough for any other applications such and Miter or compound miter saws

Heavy Duty Rolling Table Saw Stand is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 146.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy, well built product This stand is a perfect matchup for Dewalts jobsite tablesaw. I made my own outfeed table. The combination of the two adds up to increased output and safety.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A suitable table saw stand The assembly instructions could have used a beta tester. For example there were instructions that referred to the front or the back of the stand- but nothing in either the text or the diagrams that identified which was which. By assuming that the manufacturer's logo would be on the front you get the right answer. Once assembly was complete the stand appeared perfectly functional. Fold-up of the legs is easier than on the stand it replaced (an old Rigid model), and when in use it seems perfectly stable.

When I did research for a table saw stand, the description for this one said that it would work for the Craftsman Table Saw that I had. When I read the fine print on the stand itself, it did state that it was designed for a Dewalt Table Saw. Would have been nice to have known this beforehand. Nevertheless, the table is solid and well designed. Will have to make it work for my saw.

This Rolling saw table is well built and well designed however I purchased it hoping to use it for a compound miter saw table. I didn't realize it was only 22" high and only good for a table saw so I had to return it. It was my mistake for not ready the specifications completely before I purchased it, however, again it was well built and perfect for the application it was meant for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Should have bought this stand 12 years ago ! After 12 years I was finally tired of picking up my DeWalt DW744 table saw. I looked at all the available stands from $100-$600 and DeWalts DW7440RS rolling stand provided the best features and function. The stand took less than 10 minutes to assemble and mount the saw. The fact that the legs do not have wheels on them is actually a huge benefit compared to competitors wheeled stands. The splayed rear legs make this stand rock solid even when cutting full sheets of plywood by myself. I can now roll the saw any place I want and have it setup in a matter of minutes ready to work.

Mounted a 10 inch DeWalt portable table saw according to instructions and could not normally operate saw due base fixture blocking saw controls. Reversed the mount but problem did not resolve. Will have to drill holes to move mounting to accommodate saw. Well constructed and would be a sturdy support but the incompatibility is disappointing. Would be a five start if it fit.

It seemed that every time I wanted to use my table saw I had to "drag" it out on the stand that came with the saw. I kept it on the stand because I didn't have room in my garage closet to "put it away" easily. I was at the Home Depot a few weeks back and saw this stand being used on a display model. It looked like the perfect solution so I went online to look up the reviews. Everyone was saying how much they enjoyed the rolling stand and how simple it was to assemble. It seemed like the perfect solution to my problem. I ordered it online and it was delivered within the week. It took only about a half hour to assemble with very minimal tools. Once assembled the saw was simple to attach and easy to position wherever I need to put it to work. The stand is very well made and sturdy and should last as long as the saw will. I would recommend this for anyone who needs a good saw stand but is limited on storage space.

I keep my saw mounted on it and used it once so far. What a back saver. Rolled it out of my garage, put down the legs, and finished my cutting in no time. Bought the Dewalt compound saw stand last Christmas and love it equally well. It's exactly what I imagined. You can remove the saw if you want with little effort.
