Answer:
Yes, if you're modestly handy. I added a Rasberry Pi to mine to control the pressure actuator. Working on building out a tread-based propulsion system (think tank tracks). I'm using air pressure to make elevation changes to the wand which had been pretty effective. Check out my YouTube channel for details.

Sure, if you can find a control module to receive the signals. Maybe you could also hook it up to a Rumba vacuum cleaner logic board and teach the PW to automatically wash your driveway.

What has to be considered is the safety factors on these great DeWalt pressure washers. Therefore all controls are considered manual or lets just say hands directly on them. However, What is important is to know and to be fully informed on the wellness and performance regarding the cleaning tasks it is required to do for you. I know the company is working on Bluetooth capability and electronic monitoring right now. I don't know yet when it will be tested on field units and then made standard on all units. But I know that is will be soon. DeWalt products go through vigorous testing before they intro them into the market. I also know that they plan to make it retro to units that are in the field as well. I hope my reply to your question was helpful. Read Less

Yes. You can see the oil in the sight glass at the end of the pump. Sticker on pump says to change oil after so many hours... I think it's 100.

Yes, the soap dispenser connects to the pump and using the black nozzle the water and soap will come out of the same nozzle. Soap will not dispense unless you are using the black nozzle connector.

Answer:
All engines are tested before leaving the factory, but then they drain the oil from them prior to shipment. There may be some oil left in it, but not enough to run it without damaging the engine. Please add oil according to manufacturer specifications prior to first use.

Answer:
The Pump Has the oil already in it. The engine does not because the machine cannot be shipped with it in. But DeWalt provides a container of oil with the machine. Should be a black plastic bottle. Check the Honda manual provided with the machine for the correct amount you need to fill. Remember this engine has Low Oil Shut down so fill it to the recommended level so you can start the engine again.

Rated 4.1 out of 5 by 103 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Pump is garbage and Dewalt Service absolutely Sucks! I've owned this pressure washer for just a few months. It has gotten a total of maybe 10 hours of use. During use, a piece of the pump somehow managed to disintegrate and shoot into the air - it's gone, but I believe it was the threaded soap inlet. Water spewed everywhere. I own very few Dewalt products, but figured they were a solid company and replacement would be as easy as a phone call. Upon calling them, I found out that they do not deal with servicing or parts for the pumps on these washers, and I'd have to take it to a "service center". First hurdle would be to find my "proof of purchase" for this item - because they absolutely "must have it". For some reason just looking up the estimated purchase date by serial number is too complicated for them. The other issue is that not only is the service center almost an hour away, they also said they were 6 weeks out on repairs! I will never again purchase any Dewalt product after this very negative experience - especially for being the store's 2nd most expensive pressure washer. May 26, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Just got it, so far I'm satisfied, it was easy to assemble, started up good, appears to run good. If you're really interested, check back with me in 45 days. August 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Works great. Easy starting Used the pressure washer for the first time. Easy assembly. Started right up. Lots of power compared to my electric pressure washer. Hose was stiff as others have stated but that was not an issue. Did my large deck much quicker that with my previous 1650 psi electric. I did follow the suggestion of others to put a towel under the rubber feet to prevent the unit from creeping and leaving black marks on the deck. That worked and I now have a towel with black marks. A small price to pay. I'm very happy with the Dewalt. August 14, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Impossible to start Once I got it home, it took me about 50 pulls to get it started, and then as I shut it down and moved around doing the job, it would take another 10-15 pulls to start it back up. On the final move I gave up, put it in the truck and took it back. For those of you (like me) that ignored all of the reviews mentioning starting issues...don't. Also for the price, the hose seemed short and cheap. Also no quick-connects. July 22, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good residential power washer easy to assemble, pretty powerful for its size impressed with that. , looks nice. nice handle on gun. cons. as noisy as the big ones though, spray wand is short forces you to lean over and i'm 5'7", hoes is a screw on hose, not quick connect to add additional hose, hose is not easy to manipulate. i changed fittings to accept quick connect hoses and use my old wand. now this machine is great for about $40.00 more for fittings. July 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beast of a Machine! This machine is a beast! I purchased the GX200 about a year ago and I couldn't be happier. I'm not sure where the negative reviews came from, but I'd read them with much caution. I purchased my washer in May of 2015 and haven't had 1 issue. It runs today the exact same as it did day 1. It's a durable machine that can wash virtually anything. We had stains and dirt all over our roof deck. After pressure washing it looks almost brand new! I also use this machine to wash my car; I haven't been to a car was since the day I purchased the Dewalt and my car looks brand new every time I wash it. I HIGHLY recommend using this machine! June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great pressure washer First time owner of a pressure washer and it works great!! August 2, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Won't start. I bought two of these units, neither would start. Followed the startup instructions, full of oil, added fresh gas with ethanol shield, etc. Put in at least 150 cranks on each while following the manual. Returned them both and will be buying different brand. July 11, 2016
