Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Paul Pump is garbage and Dewalt Service absolutely Sucks!
I've owned this pressure washer for just a few months. It has gotten a total of maybe 10 hours of use. During use, a piece of the pump somehow managed to disintegrate and shoot into the air - it's gone, but I believe it was the threaded soap inlet. Water spewed everywhere.
I own very few Dewalt products, but figured they were a solid company and replacement would be as easy as a phone call. Upon calling them, I found out that they do not deal with servicing or parts for the pumps on these washers, and I'd have to take it to a "service center". First hurdle would be to find my "proof of purchase" for this item - because they absolutely "must have it". For some reason just looking up the estimated purchase date by serial number is too complicated for them. The other issue is that not only is the service center almost an hour away, they also said they were 6 weeks out on repairs!
I will never again purchase any Dewalt product after this very negative experience - especially for being the store's 2nd most expensive pressure washer.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bruce WOW !!! this unit has plenty of power.
I had had trouble with a Ryobi 3100 PSI washer I purchased 2 years ago. Last year I took it in to get it fixed it was still under warranty the idle down mode would not allow it to go back to full pressure, it still cost over $100 for the labor. After a year I had the same problem. I spoke with the Store Manager via phone and she told me to bring in the unit, which I did. She was great, and works out of the 38th Street Store in Indy. She gave me in store credit for the total I paid for the Ryobi whish allowed me to purchase the Dewalt. it has great power and very easy to start. I have used it for over 10 hours the last 2 weekends, it works great. It does have an oil sensor, and if it is a little low on oil it will not start, it looked like it had enough oil, it did not. Always read the directions. I also really like the the Honda power I have had a Honda push mower for over 20 years and have never had it in the shop, very easy to maintain.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Froggy Not for everyone, but it is a great machine
Dewalt makes great tools, no doubt about it. This pressure washer is not for the everyday user in my opinion. Unless you read the manual thoroughly you will surely have problems with this machine, however, if you follow the directions, it works great.
Most of the comments I read are probably from users who just take it home, add water and gas and start using the machine without any sense of direction. Too many comments about blown pumps, AAA pumps are time tested and guaranteed for 5 years. You can not let these machines run wide open with the trigger released ( READ THE MANUAL) for more than 2 min. (Major pump damage from doing this) Simply shut it off and do your texting or whatever after it is shut down.
Most people with a little common sense will have little trouble using this machine. A IQ test prior to purchasing would probably eliminate all the negative feedback given this machine. My machine runs great, no problems.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Rich Great purchase
Little assembly was required and instructions were very easy to follow as well. Works very well and can remove more soil from concrete than previous products I have had over the years. Two thumbs up for this unit.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Arnie Works great. Easy starting
Used the pressure washer for the first time. Easy assembly. Started right up. Lots of power compared to my electric pressure washer. Hose was stiff as others have stated but that was not an issue. Did my large deck much quicker that with my previous 1650 psi electric. I did follow the suggestion of others to put a towel under the rubber feet to prevent the unit from creeping and leaving black marks on the deck. That worked and I now have a towel with black marks. A small price to pay. I'm very happy with the Dewalt.

Just got it, so far I'm satisfied, it was easy to assemble, started up good, appears to run good. If you're really interested, check back with me in 45 days.
