This is the 2 nd Dewalt 3,400 PSI Pressure Washer I have owned. It's performance out of the box is awesome. I had a 2,100 PSI Powerhorse I used the day before on my driveway. I came home with this " Bad Boy " and it was like day & night. Less time for same area I had cleaned the day before and more PSI big difference. Price was ok. I asked Manager for 10% discount, and wife in Air Force Vet so Homedepot allows 10% discount also.$ 485 + Tax, and go the 3 year Warranty = $ 130. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Homedepot for handling a Great Brand and reconizing our Country's Vet's.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by mikeds It broke after two days
These machines are simply not an industrial level - we worked it pretty hard for a day or so and then it lost pressure - they don't build them like they used to .... as my Dad would say.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by DETEX Mixed feelings with this pressure washer
This is the third pressure washer I have owned. The first two were low end models, with this purchase I decided to step up to the commercial grade.
Had this been the low end, I would have rated it 5 stars, but being a commercial grade I hold it to a higher standard (just as the price was higher).
On the plus side, there is plenty of power and the pump is definitely a higher quality pump. I also know a lot of people rave about Honda engines, I have had good luck with all different brands of engines. The quick change nozzles are conveniently located, and while mine did not vibrate out I could see how they could as the rubber holding them in is not all that tight.
What downgraded this pressure washer two stars was three specific items:
1. The pull start cord is hard to use due to the front guard. Either you pull out outside the guard as I do, or you can snake it between the guard and the engine, I have big hands and it would be a pull, poke through, hand off and then pull. An extra two inches would have solved the problem.
2. The length of the pull handle and hose storage. I am 6' tall and have to slouch down to comfortably pull the washer. The hose falls of the storage easily. Like the starter, a couple more inches higher and a deeper hose storage would have made all the difference in the world.
3. The wand. I cannot say nothing nice about it. The hose connects at the bottom of the trigger handle, at an angle. It would be great if all you used the wand for is washing below your waist level, however I wash above my head to my feet, and how the hose connects puts extra pressure on your arms and back to hold it with the angle of the hose on the wand. This wand has a "nifty" rotating handle to hold the wand. It is a piece of junk. It rotates around and I have yet to find a comfortable position to use it. I looked to see if I could remove it, but unless I want to cut it off I can't. I simply hold the wand further down. If I was using the wand as a flame thrower straight out it would be perfect, but then you are dealing with the additional pressure from the hose connection.
This washer is definitely better than the bargain basement models I have had in the past, and I really expected more comfort in using for a commercial grade than the occasional use washers I have had in the past.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by james Don't buy the cheaper ones! Borrow from your kids if need be!
After using for 20 hours or so, this is the one to buy. Even though it says "commercial" if you have any driveway, house eaves and gutters, docks, or porches,,,the time you save is well worth the cost...3400 PSI, oil pump on side (don't buy one with with pump under engine) do not buy cheaper ones at Costco.
After 2 cheaper ones, this unit should last a long time. It cost $92 a day to rent this unit...6 days you have it paid for. The bad....the tires leave black marks on painted decks, etc. because the unit walks around on a smooth surface....they need to upgrade tire rubber. I wrapped hose around unit to keep it from walking around.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Matthew Great engine/bad pump
Bought this pressure washer 6 months ago in May used it 5 times and the AAA pump went out on me. I was forwarned about getting a unit with a Cat pump and it looks like I should have listened. It works great, when it works I will say. Home Depot won't do anything for me after 90 days so mine is currently in the shop having a new AAA pump installed while I pay to rent a pressure washer for my current job. Completely disappointed because now I'm stuck with this suspect pump even though the Honda engine is nice. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone, especially a contractor like myself. Instead of it being an investment, it's cost me money.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by rookiepressurewasher mostly good
Purchased this washer today and am satisfied with the performance. Easily assembled, added oil and gas and it started on the third pull. The wand that comes with it is too short (maybe 16") - purchased a 27" extension and that worked well. The hose is only 25' so I purchased a 25' extension which helps prevent multiple moves. Ran it for a couple of hours and had no problems at all - ran out of gas, re-filled it and started on first pull. To prevent the rubber feet leaving marks as other reviewers have stated, I stuck some felt furniture pads on them and had no issues with the unit moving or leaving marks. Would rate it 5 stars if the wand was longer and it had a longer hose.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Crocboy Excellent Power Washer
It took maybe 30 minutes to do the little assembly required, add the oil and fill with gas. I then used the washer to clean our concrete patio/pool deck, which was dirty and stained from a wet winter. Using the 40 degree tip, I was able to really get it really clean! The machine started easily, once I followed the directions, and never skipped a beat. I am pleased with the washer, it's quality and performance. My only complaint is the stiffness of the hose, but I'm hoping it will "loosen up", but even if not and I buy another longer hose, I'm still very satisfied with the machine.
