Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JB NICE Product; No complaints. Quality is obvious.
I added the picture to prove I actually bought and used the unit I am reviewing. I'm not convinced some of the negative reviews were from people who actually have the machine.
#1 THE MOTOR: I tend to over research my purchases prior to buying. In doing so, I decided I wanted to go with a commercial quality Honda engine. Even as a do-it-yourselfer, this is tool I'm going to have for years, and might as well get something good, rather than having to upgrade later. So far this motor is starting on the first or second pull every time, and it pulls very easy. It is much nicer than my neighbor who has a washer with a residential Honda motor, the step up in quality of obvious. The warranty is good.
#2 THE PUMP: After researching pumps, I wanted quality, with the idea this is a long term machine for a DIY'er. The pump on this device, with an oil reserve, is a commercial grade pump, with ceramic components and a great warranty.
#3 OTHER FACTORS: I was ready to buy the model below this, but in the final comparison I decided I wanted a model with a 36" wand with a side handle to hold onto. I wanted a 50 foot hose. If you buy the next model down (which has the commercial motor and pump) by the time you buy a longer hose and wand, the cost is close enough that you might as well get the next model up and have these nice items, plus you get more power. The warranty on this machine is better than the residential units and impressive. I hope I don't need it.
This is a rebadged Simpson unit sold by Dewalt and stocked in most Home Depot stores. You can order the Simpson version from Home Depot as well, but I can't see an advantage unless you like the color combination better. I like items that are stocked in store. If I get a lemon, I'm going to want a replacement right now... The price point is the same, if not better at Home Depot than buying a Simpson elsewhere.
#4 POWER: This is the most powerful unit I have used. You need two hands on the wand when you pull the trigger. The motor is working hard, so it would seem you want to buy a machine powered by a reliable and lasting engine. Makes my electric look silly.
So far so good with the projects I have put it to work with. With this much power, it takes a quarter of the time my prior electric 1800 PSI unit took, and has the power to do more than the electric is even capable of doing. Hopefully it will provide long term reliability. I don't think Dewalt would but its name on it or offer the warranty it comes with if it wasn't built to last.

Honda engine is amazing , cranks every time and supplies great pressure. AAA pump sucks , never worked properly. Had to replace pump after very little use. Upgraded to AR 4000 psi, 4.0 gpm. Lots more pressure. I just hope it lasts. Dewalt should stop putting their NAME on it.

After doing some research on Power washers I made up my mind to go with the Simpson or Dewalt, seeing Dewalt was so happy with the washer they put their name on it. After leaning towards the 3400 PSI model I started to read some reviews. I am so happy to have done this. As mentioned the 3800 PSI cost more but well worth the increase. The hose is 50 feet which is very helpful and has the quick connectors. This length allows the sprayer to stay in a dry area away from my spray and prevent me from moving the sprayer so much. I check with the rental locations where we would get a power washer for years to use and they told me the units were 3800 PSI. That helped me to make the final decision to move up as I did not want anything less than what I was use to.
It starts up so easily and is very easy to move around. My wife and I both love using this sprayer and I have pulled it out every weekend so far looking to clean something else. It removed very old oil spots from my driveway with such ease. Patio, lawn equipment, wheels, fence, gutters, pool cover, driveway and porch have all been cleaned and we just got the sprayer 2 weeks ago. :)

Nice pressure washer. The fifty foot hose is great, but not the easiest to store. Otherwise perfect.

Long story short: I own a painting company and have used pressure washers for 23 years now. I thought this was going to be a good buy, it has the Honda motor so I figured it would run forever. The pump is the Achilles heel on this machine. The pump went on the very first job that I used the machine on, literally 2 hours of run time. I have heard from others that have had the same experience and they agree that the pump doesn't properly support this machine. I will not purchase this machine again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Dean Good engine, junk pump
Have had this pressure washer for 7 months and the pump died. Took it to a repair center and its been a month that they have had it. He said simpson who is the pump mfg takes their sweet time getting him answers on what they will do. I have since read a bunch of reviews that have told of the bad pumps and horrible customer service from simpson. I would advise to stay away from anything with a simpson pump on it
