During a recent kitchen remodel, I could not remove a fastener nor drill a new hole because the cabinet was too narrow to accommodate my drill and drill bit/screwdriver. I saw this online, went to the local HD and made the purchase. It worked perfectly to provide complete access through the narrow opening. It comes with a small philips screwdriver bit, but if you need to use other sizes or drill bits, be sure to check your supply before you head to the store. If you have bits with a hexagonal 1/4 drill bit shank (see picture), you'll be fine because that is the only size this accessory will accept. Otherwise, you might want to pick them up when you purchase the adapter, because the adapter does not have a traditional adjustable chuck.
Also, you should know that unlike a fixed right angle drill, this adapter will hang loose from your drill when it is attached, so you will need one hand to hold your drill and the other to hold this adapter in place. This could necessitate the need to drill a small starter hole to hold fasteners in place, usually not a big deal unless you're dealing with a heavy or awkwardly shaped fastener.

This little right angle drill adapter saved me a whole bunch of money. Not very often I run into a situation where I have a tight space and need a right angle drill to finish the job. I have an old rt angle drill that needs replaced and was working a project that required the use of this drill. I went to Home Depot to price out a decent right angle drill but found that $100 or more for a seldom use drill was more than I was willing to spend. One of the hardware personnel showed me this little devise and just a fraction of what I was prepared to spend for a drill. I took it home and was able to finish the job and it worked perfectly.

I built a vanity out of white oak that had narrow drawers on each side. I did not have a right angle drill and a standard one is too tall to install the drawer slides. This adapter along with my self centering drill bit made short work getting accurately centered holes for the slides. And, it didn't fall apart like the ones from H.....r F.....t !! Great tool for little $$ especially when you REALLY need one.

This lets you get into tight places and works pretty good....when it works! What I mean is this is a special use tool so I haven't used mine on 50 or 60 screws and the inside "locked up" and I had to buy another one. This is my second one in 2 years. That being said... Until it breaks....it works great. Just no longevity to it.

I needed to be able to get into a tight place, and I started to do research where I learned about this tool. This is so cool because you get the performance without having to buy a new drill. It will get a lot of use now that I own it.

I needed to access some very tight, actually impossible to get to, screws for some cabinet work so I did some research and found this DeWalt RIGHT ANGLE DRILL ADAPTER which had really good reviews.
Add my very good review to the list.
Worked so well I cannot believe it.
I highly recommend this handy tool.

A great little tool for my work environment. I call it the back saver. Without this tool I would have to open the back of hundreds of computer desks to remove the screws behind the monitor. This tool not only saves me time when replacing the monitors but also back pains. I added a handle to improve performance, maybe this idea could become an improvement and also a bit locking mechanism would be handy.
