Very glad I got the light. With sale price on saw was able to include light in purchase at no extra cost.
Illuminates well and looks great.

Saw is great and so is the stand. Light mounts clean and had high hopes for it because you really want some light up close to the work. However, the flex tube that holds the lamp is not strong enough to hold the light right where you put it. It simply sags out of place right away. I had to prop it up over the top arm and come at the saw from the right side with it which it clearly is not meant to be.

It is a necessary item but the lamp does not want to stay in the position you would like. Seems to want to stay in a straight position.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by TomH It won't stay where you bend it
The flexible tubing which comprises this light is attached to the back of the scroll saw and you "bend" the flexible tubing to direct the light where you want it. Problem is, the flexible tube is too flexible and will not stay where you need it to focus the light on the work. Something else has to be done with it (I plan to use a zip tie to the main body of the saw) to make it hold the light where it will display on the work being done.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by DATS Product was not designed well.
This light is used to light an area when the saw blade meets the wood. It is designed to by mounted horizontally along the side of the scroll saw and flex to allow positioning above the work piece. The neck of the light flexes, but it does not hold a position. It slumps down on to the work table or has to be bent over the saw arm for support, a bad design.

Little installation difficulty in that cord got in way of bolting light to saw, otherwise works fine. Light tends to droop a little, maybe head too heavy for stem?
