Twin Tec Adjustable Ratcheting Socket Wrench is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Close but no cigar I had bought this the other day at HD. It seems like a good idea but when using the tool, the shortfalls pop out. First, the tool is a bit heavy but can be handled well. The operation of the adjustments is easy to figure out, so you can be off and running in no time. Things went well when we had to assemble some tables for a commercial account. I did find that after adjusting the tool, and and then pulling it off the bolt, it had to be resized again. The tool would not just slip back onto the bolt. Ten we started running into trouble, we would tighten the bolt down, but then could not remove the tool from the bolt. We ended up removing the bolt, and then tried to loosen the tool from its death grip. We were able to remove it twice when this happened, but then on the third one, we could not remove it no matter what. As a matter of fact the bolt is still in the tool, which I will be returning today to HD. The ends of the tool are also quite big, so this would limit where it could be used. I was really hoping that this was the one, but many other multi tools fall short of being an all around tool, and this one was no exception. Stick with your set of wrenches, not only are they light but they fit in where they need to and don't take your bolt hostage. Maybe next time DeWalt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Tool! The Dewalt Adjustable Ratcheting Socket Wrench is a great tool. It is similar to an adjustable wrench but much easier to use. The large adjustment dials on the back bring the teeth closer or further as you turn the dial. It is very comfortable to adjust and once you have the size dialed in, the ratcheting mechanism makes use easy. Unlike adjustable wrenches, you don't have to take off the ratchet to readjust every quarter turn. Gone are the days where I spend several minutes looking for the correct socket size. The Dewalt ratcheting socket is a new innovation for dated hand tools that have been around forever. I highly recommend this tool for anything from changing a bike tire to driving lag bolts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Interesting socket wrench alternative The DeWalt Twin Tech ratchet is an interesting tool designed to replace 26 individual sockets, both metric and SAE. The tool feels sturdy and well-constructed, and its design is quite clever. Large, easy grip dials on both sides of the wrench allow the user to quickly dial-in the appropriate wrench side. Ratcheting is smooth and crisp. Unfortunately, to accomplish the adjustable sizing, both sides of the wrench are large and bulky, limiting the ability to fit the wrench into tighter spaces. In particular, the "socket" side of the wrench is quite large and probably unlikely to reach most recessed bolts. For accessible bolts, however, I think the wrench will prove useful - certainly easier to carry in a tool bag than a ratchet set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bulky but functional This product is very heavy in the hand and the adjustable mechanism causes the two ratcheting heads to be very large. You will not be able to use this in any tight spaces and I would stay away from overhead applications as I wouldn't want that weight dropping on my head by accident. There are no instructions with the product but I figured it out pretty quickly. On the top of each ratchet is a black dial that you turn to open or close the "socket" where the nut/bolt will be gripped. Think of it like an adjustable crescent wrench but in a socket application. Because of the way it grips, you can use it on a variety of bolt/nut types. As a result this is a two handed operation to get started. One to hold the product on the bolt/nut and the other to tighten the mechanism onto the bolt/nut. Once completed you can ratchet away. When ratcheting is completed you unscrew the black dial to open the socket and release it from the bolt/nut. Overall it is an interesting design and has value for certain applications but I can't justify carrying it in place of a socket set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Idea, a little cumbersome the idea behind this wrench is great, virtually eliminating the need for an entire ratchet set. however, it's definitely on the heavy side and it's a little awkward to get the sizing exactly right, especially on the smaller end

Rated 5 out of 5 by from amazing tool I like Dewalt products and this tool did not disappoint me. I use this tool more for rounded or irregular fasteners. It has a reversible switch that will allow you to both tighten and loosen a fastener and works on both metric and standard. I hope they come out with a little bit longer tool that will allow more leverage but I am still happy with the performance of this tool.
