I needed it to patch up a broken pipe. So, I cut where it was broken and use it to reconnect the pipe.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Mike Other couplers work better
This is my opinion only. These don't effectively grab the drip line. They have no means - other than friction - to hold the drip line in the coupler. That may be fine for new installs where the line is still very pliable and not dried. But for repair work, I've found it completely unsuitable and have wasted far too much money on these. There are couplers from other manufacturers that have little fingers that clamp the hose into the body of the coupler.

Just ensure you have clean cuts at the ends of your tubing and they slip on with a little twisting and effort. Provides a tight waterproof seal for joining ends.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by glss This products meets my expectation for a compression coupling
This is a compression coupling for repairing cracked or damaged drip line tubing, or for joining sections of drip lines. It performs as expected. Good value for it's intended use.
