Product Overview

DIG's Button Drippers feature labyrinth water flow paths that allow for a consistent flow rate from each dripper at an incoming pressure of 15 to 25 psi with higher discharge at higher pressures and lower discharge at lower pressures. Chemical and clog resistant, the drippers are an economical choice for systems with short lengths of drip tubing. The drippers can be installed by punching a hole into the 1/2 in. drip tubing and snapping the barbed side of the dripper into the 1/2 in. drip tubing, or you can extend the drippers into the plants with 1/4 in. micro tubing or distribution tubing. We do not recommend extending 1/4 in. micro tubing from the button drip emitter nipple to the plant area. With this dripper we highly recommended adding a 3/4 in. screen filter to protect it from clogging and a 25 psi pressure regulator to lower the incoming pressure to the suggested operating pressure for a drip system.

  • Flow rate of 2 GPH operating pressure of 15 psi
  • Color code: green
  • High-quality materials ensure a long life
  • Large water passages help prevent clogging
  • Operating pressure range of 10 to 25 psi
  • Recommended filtration is 150 to 155 mesh

This is the second bag I have bought this year to replace other brand emitters which have failed. These don't plug or blow out their ends creating flooding, if not detected. So far this is the best emitter out of 3 brands used to date. Only one out of 50 was mis-manufactured and did not allow water flow.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great quality product!! Super easy to attach to ¼ dripper tubing, the flow of water is constant to specification. Use this drippers all over my yard for my Oleander shrubs and my vegetable garden. The flow of water is constant to 2 gph as advertice, my plants are always happy green tanks to this drippers.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sizing is confusing - need to ask I don't have a problem with the product and the fault is my own but I am putting this review out there so others may not make the same mistake. Apparently there are different dripper system pipe sizes. This particular size was not correct for the tubing I had. These drippers just pulled right back out. So, I need to go back and buy the correct thing.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product I use these daily on my landscape projects. The are easy to install and work well. They are made to water at 2gph while others are different amounts, the color coding makes them easy to identify.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from like 'em Work great (as advertised) and work great with micro tubing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Output is too small for drip tubing While these may appear to be a good value the output side tip is too small for standard drip tubing - It falls off - thus cannot be extended to put water where you want it. In my application, I need the drip emitter on the main feeder line and extend the outputs with small drip tubing. If we do it otherwise (small drip line from the main line to the emitter on the end) the rabbits chew the smaller drip tubing (they love the pressured water squirting from the pinholes). We did this first and the added a garden water feature that looked like the Bellagio after the rabbits got done. Not exactly what we were intending.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from plan carefully or you will make boo-boos. we have strong water pressure (50+lbs) and the pressure reducer was not able to handle it. the pressure reducer says it will output 25lbs but because our pressure was so great, the reducer only worked a little. this meant we had too much pressure in the line and that meant all the drippers were popping off. a couple every day. i eventually took all the drippers off and just turn on that part of the system for 10 minutes and pray that the plants are not getting too much water. I put everything together quickly because I didn't have time to put together a finished product. My bad!
