Customer Questions & Answers

Is the amount of water coming from each nozzle the same or can it be adjusted?

I plan to use this product for my flower beds, however my plants vary in size from small flowers to larger shrubs. Is there any way to adjust the water output for plant size?
Asked by: Sickofwatering
Each nozzle puts out a different amount, some put half gallon per hour, others 2 gallons and some you can adjust. try to find out the type you have, you can always buy adjustable ones.

Does this attach to a hose?

I have to run a hose to the garden from the spout.
Asked by: crombie
it comes with an attachment to be attached to your hose faucet, you would need a hose extender female female to attach to your house.

To water garden, have to extend hose in kit across lawn which is mowed. Is that a problem?

Thinking of purchasing, but afraid if it goes on grass then I may have to constantly move it when I mow.
Asked by: Barb
It would be a problem because it would probably get torn.

Can I use this for hanging baskets? Is there enough pressure? How high can you run the micro tubing above the faucet?

Asked by: Machu75
It depends on how much water pressure you have, my water pressure is pretty good, nothing stronger than the ordinary, it can go very high, you should use the smaller tub for pots. connect them to the bigger one that should be on the ground. I have it like that in my house.

I would definitely recommend it, it completely met my expectations, big tip is to let the black tub in the sun a little so it gets soft and 100x easier to move around. It takes 10 mins the most to completely learn everything, I also went to the closest depot store to buy some extra dripping bids, I want some that would drip 0.5 gph instead of 1gph. It's very easy to find additional parts, you can always modify your structure, extend it, reduce it, I have mine watering orange trees, tomatoes, lemons, grapes, bushes, bamboos. Etc. AND you make it harder for weed to grow around since the water only goes to your plant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great purchase This set is a really good value if you can use most of the connectors. I only needed to purchase some extra elbows and I got some adjustable emitters because I like them better than the 1 gallon emitters. I did watch some youtube videos and read lots of the reviews for advice before setting up my system. Letting the tubing warm in the sun is very helpful. Sticking the 1/4" tubing in hot water or using a blow dryer makes it much easier to put the barbs or emitters in. Also it is easier to punch holes in the 1/2" tubing if it is not in the hot sun. After I had finished my system I learned you should not twist the connectors trying to get them on, you should rock them left to right or up and down. This is one area I had a lot of trouble because I twisted them on. You do need to go through your items and match them to list included. I was missing the goof plugs and hole punch. I emailed home depot and within a week I had the missing items.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice with one fault This is a very nice kit for the price. Everything you need to setup a drip system. Big plus is the 200' of 1/2' tube. Most kits don't have that much. The only fault is the micro sprayers. They don't work as well as the Mr. Landscaper ones. That said I would buy this kit all day long. A great way to get started.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from DIG Drip and Micro Sprinkler Kit Installation This kit came complete as advertised affording a number of different water distribution options. Since I have used only the micro drip (1 gph) nozzles I still have plenty of future options. 20 micro drip nozzles came in the kit and I have ordered another smaller kit with just 10 additional nozzles and micro tubing & stakes. Installation was simple and straightforward. Entire system consists of main tubing, tubing stakes, back flow preventer, pressure regulator, screen filter adapter to main hose, straight and tee barbs for connecting micro tubing to main tubing, micro tubing stakes, double ring fitting for sealing off the end of the main line, and 4 ninety degree elbows to route main tubing under a pathway. In addition I added a quick disconnect fitting onto the back flow preventer for easy connection to a convenient garden hose. The entire system with all connections was leak free from the first time I pressurized the system. I highly recommend this product to anyone wanting to minimize water wastage by directing water precisely to each plant.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Discrete way to water your plants This kit is a very discrete way to keep your plants watered atomically. Ideal during the dry summer months when watering is hard to keep up with or while you are on vacation. I used the drippers from the kit to water my plants and the sprayers to cover a narrow strip of grass along my driveway. The trickiest part of the installation is getting the connecting barbs onto the ¼” hose. To make the hose softer and easier to insert over the barbs, I warmed the hose with a warm pail of water. I installed 2 zones to balance the water usage between the drippers and the sprayers. I bought extra ½ in hose and ¼ in hose, additional nozzles for the sprayers, and smaller drippers to balance water between the large pots and small pots. In general the kit has plenty of stuff to get you started on your first drip irrigation project. It is a good value compared with buying everything individually.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome sprinklers I live in Oregon and bought these to keep my lavender and vegetables happy if we go out of town. It was REALLY simple to install, only took about two hours start to finish. They have only been in for a week, so I can't say how they will hold up, but so far, this is a very great product for a low price. Highly recommended.
