how do you size the pump for the .8 mister? I can't get these misters to work with my pump. Is too much pressure bad?

Answer:
I have the misters hooked up the house. 60 psi is a normal house pressure and they are funneled threw a drip filter to reduce dirt in the line.

Answer:
This product will create a low volume mist. It won't drench the area. In a hot environment, any water would dry quickly.

Rated 3.2 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by misters These are the easiest to clean, unscrew the top, turn it on ,it cleans the hole . Put it back on and it works great. July 5, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by not buying again I have bought several drip parts from home depot in the past few years. I needed a small headed adjustable emitter to fill a self watering system pipe and I picked these up. After about 4 days in use the heads popped loose when trying to adjust with work they can reattach but just come off again in a couple of watering. Around 10 days in use only 3 of 5 produce any water and that only a stream since the adjustable heads will not stay on. Have since replaced them and will not get this design again. Shame since the other parts from same brand have worked well enough. My running favorite are the mini sprinkler one on the 4in spike since I do not have to worry about the stake coming loose. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Rapidly clog and become unuseable I installed a number of these misters on benches for growing orchids outdoors. Even though I live in an area that has water with relatively low mineral content (less than 200ppm), the emitters rapidly built up mineralization and stopped misting (within a few weeks of use). Instead you get one or a few narrow steady streams rather than the original broad mist. I tried cleaning the heads using vinegar and CLR to dissolve the minerals, but the emitters never worked like new. The Orbit adjustable sprayers are much more reliable, but they produce more of a spray than a mist. July 15, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great fogger for greenhouse use I tried several different foggers & misters for an application in a greenhouse. This was by far the best. I suspended the fogger at the end of a tube with a valve in the middle, about 2ft above planter trays. Fogger creates cone of fine droplets that cover the area below well. They have been working perfectly for a week. Does exactly what I had wanted them to do. July 28, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Product I use these foggers in a misting system for freezer compressors. The compressors are outside in the direct sun and overheat on hot days. Two of these per condenser provides good cooling but doesn't swamp the whole area like our previous cooling system. About half of the tips need to be replaced every summer when I begin using the system again because they get clogged easily. But that is to be expected with how fine the tip is and they are cheap and easy to replace. I've been very happy with this product in this application. July 1, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Either leaks or doesn't spray Within a year, 4 out of 5 are dead. They either don't create fine mist, or simply leaks water, depending how tight I twist the head. I recommend the Orbit Adjustable Mist Sprayer instead. February 25, 2014
