Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is so much easier to program than the older... This is so much easier to program than the older versions. However, I did purchase one of these last year and had to get another this year - it didn't last! And yes, I did use a new battery I also purchased with my new timer so I know it was the unit.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from best. purchase. ever.? Not the best timer out there, but was the ONLY timer out here in PacNW during our record heat wave. It works consistently, but is very rudimentary. There is no actual clock, so if you want your watering to occur at 0400 am, then you had best get your bum out of bed at 0400 am the first time, set the timer for "every 24hrs", set the length of time for watering, press enter, go back to bed, then do it all again then next day to see if the timer took. If this is the only timer you can find, it is fine. However, almost every other one out there has more features - like a real clock - for not a whole lot more money. Will most likely replace this with a better on next season

Rated 4 out of 5 by from More to purchase IF installing on drip system This 'detail' is provided for those that DO install this timer with a drip system. What is written (at the time of this review) on the manufactures website for the B092A states that "If the timer is installed with a drip irrigation system, make sure to add a 25 or 30 PSI regulator to lower the pressure to the drip system, then install a 150 or higher mesh screen filter to protect the drip system, following with a swivel adapter to the drip tubing." This information was not included online with Home Depot's Product Overview, nor is it written on the enclosed Instruction Manual. The photo with the outdoor faucet/spigot, then the product, then the garden hose suggests that that garden hose is attached to something, maybe an Oscillating Sprinkler. Well, then buyer, no additional parts are required!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great - and very easy. I chose this because it looked easier to adjust than the digital one. Worked right out of the box, and has been working fine for about a year now on its 9v battery.
