It can't be 21.5 in, as stated. They are usually 4-5 inches high from the toilet seat where they get put on.
In other words, how much is the riser going to lift the person up?

Answer:
The riser is 3 inches high. You can add a toilet seat to the riser which would add another inch or more.

Customer Reviews

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 1 reviewer.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good design but The unit provides a very long metal bolt with washer and wing nut. The bolt did not fit my seat cover and I had to enlarge the seat cover attachment hole with a drill. The unit is well designed but urine accumulates daily under the riser requiring removal of the entire unit for cleaning. The unit needs to be tightened with a screwdriver every day. I suspect the metal bolt, wing nut and washer will rust over time. Basically a good design with cheap attachments. A shroud around the entire inner portion of the riser would lessen the accumulation of urine under the unit. November 10, 2015
