Rated 5 out of 5 by My favorite of the backer boards I've used Hardy board and I found that it didn't score very easily. I had to use a circular saw with a carbide blade. It was very messy and a pain in the rear. After that job, I switched over to Durock and I'll never look back. Very easy to score and snap. It almost cuts as easy as gypsum board. It doesn't have alignment lines but I've decided those are fairly worthless anyway, seeing that once you get thinset on the board, you can't see the lines in the immediate area that you are working on anyway. Just run a laser line across your floor and get after it. August 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works well Score it, snap it and install it. Easy as pie. Always works for me and I do this for a living. Better then pouring the cement yourself. September 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Worked as it was intended. First time I used this product. First time I've tiled a floor. Scribed it, broke it, installed it and tiled over it. It worked.. What more can I say. June 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product easy to use Read multiple reviews and wasn't sure which brand to buy. This product received the best reviews and lived up to them. It's easy to score and cut and would definitely buy again for my next project. February 29, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by cheap but not worth a penny more I was told by everyone that durock is the best product. It did the job but it was messy, not an easy cut, and the corners break so easily. I will not be buying this product ever again. It is cheap but you get what you pay for, this says it all. May 18, 2012
