Great looking tile. Love the color. Mixed with some real slate accent tiles with awesome results. Tile is a bit thin and there are very few different patterns to the tiles. Color was very consistant.

We upgraded our floors from a dated linoleum to this and what a MASSIVE difference! Highly recommended.

The digital imaging color applied to tiles was lacking. I have purchased these same tiles before. It is as though they only applied 2 of 3 layers of glaze.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by KitchenReno Out of Stock often, broken pieces
We used this tile for our kitchen. Our first order was placed in April. Had to place a second order in June for additional 18x18 due to the 6x6 tile being out of stock for many months. We changed our tile pattern from 3 to 2 due to the 6x6 not being available and not wanting to wait longer, so that's why we needed more 18x18. We finally did the job this past weekend. The boxes we ordered in April were great! The boxes we ordered in June were awful. Many broken pieces, corners of the tile chipped off. We didn't want to wait longer to get the project done so we worked with whatever broken pieces we could for edges that needed to be cut. Fortunately we ended up having enough tile to finish the project and even some extra boxes we never opened. I guess that's why it's good to order more than you need. Also, Home Depot was great about taking back whatever boxes and individual tiles that we didn't need.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JofCO So far so good!
We wanted slate but our joists can't handle the weight, so we opted for these. There are 5 variations to the pattern per box. I haven't installed yet but wanted to post a picture so you can see the pic online is pretty accurate (assuming you haven't fiddled too much with your gamma). Here is one, in natural daylight, sitting next to my black car mat and an Ikea Abstrakt drawer front (a true white). It does have an almost bluish hue with natural light shining down on it. There are teeny hints of browns.
I can't speak for install but these seem to be of high quality. (We've installed cheap before and will never again.) I really don't anticipate any problems. I'll update my review if I am wrong :)

Delivery on the field tile was not quick, but acceptable. (However, the matching bullnose took weeks to get here and slowed down my project.)
used this tile and the matching bullnose to tile a stairway. Nice texture, neither slippery nor too bumpy/uneven. We also used the bullnose for the edge of curved steps tiled in a darker tile, to make the step-down more visible. Cut the bullnose in wedges to work the tile in a fan around the curves. Used a grout darker than this tile in kitchen, lighter than tile on the stairwell, and very happy with the result.
The tile doesn't look as much like slate as I hoped, but it looks great , is tough, and is well worth the reasonable price.
