Answer:
Slightly textured. It mimics a real wood look. Still is flat, and fairly easy to get the grout cleaned. Definitely not slippery. Good luck.

The texture is not completely smooth. It has a very slight texture similar to the wood pattern. I put in my shower area and I don't think it will be difficult to clean.

I was told that you could by the installers that Home Depot contracts with. They did say that there was an extra charge for herringbone installation due to it being a design preference. I think it would look amazing!

This tile can be installed in any pattern you feel comfortable with. Just make sure you have at least a 1/8" grout line to make up for any inconstancy in tile size.

Answer:
Yes you could but ideally you would have a very large room as rectangle tiles would take up a lot of room. and an expert at cutting tile as the diagonal cuts on the edges could be tricky. Much easier with square tile. The beauty of this tile is the wood grain look, you may lose that effect in herringbone. It's stunning just set the way they recommend and show in the pictures.

Answer:
Cuts in a straight line with a simple tile scoring machine. Cuts easily with a wet saw. It is a bit finicky when it comes to nipping a curve, so be patient in doing so.

I bought haystack, but my tile guys are telling me if I want a more seamless real wood look to use Linen or Ivory. I had a hard enough time choosing this tile and now grout color and thresholds and patterns? And thanks for the photos folks. Your rooms and the shower surround look wonderful. Thanks for taking the time to answer.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 51 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful tile We used this tile in our tub/shower surround. The quality is excellent. It gives our bathroom the look of a high-end spa. It is elegant and understated. August 12, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Tile! We love this tile! It was a challenge to find a tile that would complement our existing kitchen tile. The beige and grey tones create a versatile background and fit in perfectly with our decor. We used the Pinwheel mosaic also, to transition between the old and new tiles. The quality seems quite good. My only regret is that we didn't go with a much darker grout, like Oyster Gray or Quartz (suggested by Home Depot). We chose Antique White because the sample was a perfect match, but the grout dried quite a few shades lighter than I planned. It looks beautiful despite that. Also, we went with Home Depot's subcontractors for the install, and they were terrific. May 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful wood like tile! My floors turned out beautiful. This wood like ceramic tile had the best price I could find at any store. We decided on an herringbone pattern and used a slate Mosaic to help transition from room to room. We have already finished our living room and will be starting on a front room and hallway. I am very excited and love the look of this tile. We did install it ourselves, which was a lot of hard work!! I would suggest if you can afford it, pay someone to install it for you. I used 1/8 inch spacers between tiles. I am not sure if that was the right space for grouting, but it seemed to work out over most of the tile using the herringbone pattern. I would suggest maybe talking to Daltile or Home Depot to see what would be the best space to use. I just wanted to keep my grout lines to a minimum. The guy who helped me get everything together at Home Depot was exceptionally helpful, super friendly and did his best to help get the tile at the best price. I am very satisfied. We still have 2 more rooms to go!! I have included some pictures of the finished room. June 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by excellent choice Easy to install. Product looks amazing down. Bought on-line and pick-up at store. Soooo easy! September 6, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this tile! Great looking tile except there are some large grain, darker tiles mixed in when you purchase full boxes! I used them under the cabinets because I didn't like the look! You might want to pre sort he tile before installation. There are many different tile patterns, but not cool to have the same tile next to each other! Looks great with Haystack grout! August 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tiles Loved By All These tiles turned out sooo well, way better than expected. I liked the clean look and the smooth and fine sand-like feel, perfect for our lakeside cabin master bathroom. It looks unique compared to the other faux wood ceramic/porcelain tiles. I ordered the 3x20 bullnose tiles directly from Daltile. August 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Use for my bathroom Use this for my shower bathroom and it looks so nice. Love it. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely wood tile Love this wood tile! It really looks great. I wasn't too sure about it at first so we only did the kitchen and laundry room. Once it was in and grouted, I loved it. My contractor said we had enough left over to do the hallway and guest bath. Well, that looked even better and off to Home Depot I went to order enough to do the living room and den! It looks great and for the price, you can't beat it. The texture is great and not slippery at all. No need for throw rugs under furniture to keep it from sliding. It really is beautiful tile. November 2, 2015
