Answer:
Slightly textured. It mimics a real wood look. Still is flat, and fairly easy to get the grout cleaned. Definitely not slippery. Good luck.

Answer:
The texture is not completely smooth. It has a very slight texture similar to the wood pattern. I put in my shower area and I don't think it will be difficult to clean.

Answer:
Cuts in a straight line with a simple tile scoring machine. Cuts easily with a wet saw. It is a bit finicky when it comes to nipping a curve, so be patient in doing so.

The installer had no problem cutting the tile and the cuts look flawless. The item is delicate and we left this to the experts :)

I was told that you could by the installers that Home Depot contracts with. They did say that there was an extra charge for herringbone installation due to it being a design preference. I think it would look amazing!

This tile can be installed in any pattern you feel comfortable with. Just make sure you have at least a 1/8" grout line to make up for any inconstancy in tile size.

Answer:
Yes you could but ideally you would have a very large room as rectangle tiles would take up a lot of room. and an expert at cutting tile as the diagonal cuts on the edges could be tricky. Much easier with square tile. The beauty of this tile is the wood grain look, you may lose that effect in herringbone. It's stunning just set the way they recommend and show in the pictures.

Yes. I laid mine in a random of fashion on my tub/shower walls, but could have laid in subway. Actually on short walls I did lay in a subway style. the tile is just a tad short of 20" so 3 pieces fit perfectly across back wall(60") with 1/16" grout lines. side walls worked out to be 1 &1/2 pieces...perfect for subway too with the tile size.

I also made all my cuts with tile upside down on tile saw. Maybe me, but it chipped at end of almost every single cut. Flipping it put the chip on the underside. I even tried going super slow, but still chipped a little.
It's beautiful tile. you will be pleased. I used Fawn color grout. It turned out lighter than I wanted but it still looks awesome!

These are wall and floor tile i assume there would be no issue using on the wall. I staggered the tile because some of them were not designed that i liked. In this fashion i was able to cut out the "ugly" and still use that specific tile.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Lovely wood tile Love this wood tile! It really looks great. I wasn't too sure about it at first so we only did the kitchen and laundry room. Once it was in and grouted, I loved it. My contractor said we had enough left over to do the hallway and guest bath. Well, that looked even better and off to Home Depot I went to order enough to do the living room and den! It looks great and for the price, you can't beat it. The texture is great and not slippery at all. No need for throw rugs under furniture to keep it from sliding. It really is beautiful tile. November 2, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Beware I bought a huge amount of this tile to do the flooring throughout my whole house. It is a nice color and nice wood look however the tiles were all different sizes within the same box and within the same pallet. Some tiles differed as much as an eighth of an inch per tile. This may not seem like a lot but when your contractor is laying the tile it makes a big difference. It appears that the lines throughout the floor are wavy because one tile sticks out 1/8 inch past the other and so on down the line. My contractor was so disgusted he left for the day. We opened box after box and found varying differences in size between each tile in the box. Very frustrating. I don't even know how something like this could happen. So if you want to spend the day sorting tiles according to size variations this is the tile for you. Otherwise, beware. April 19, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks like wood...when you use the right grout color I wanted flooring at a reasonable price that looked like wood, with the wearability and water resistance of tile. It also needed to work in a foyer, powder room, laundry, kitchen and family room because I wanted one flooring type throughout my main living spaces. This tile fit the bill perfectly. The tile has a hand hewn look surface coupled with a good variety of grain patterns that both really add to the impression that it's wood. I originally used the Polyblend "Linen" colored non-sanded grout since that is what the sample board in my local Home Dept said they used. But unfortunately the Linen grout turned out almost white and really distracted from the wood look, giving more of an impression of tile. Fortunately this was a relatively easy fix. We used the Polyblend grout renew in the "Haystack" color. Which both sealed the grout and completely transformed it into a color that perfectly matched the tile, making the grout lines "disappear". We also used the smallest grout lines that we could, 1/16". I'm very happy with the finished look. If I had an ask, it would be that the tiles come a couple inches longer to be even closer to looking like wood flooring. December 17, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Bathroom Renovation My wife & I had never worked with ceramic tile before! We borrowed a ceramic saw from a friend (bought at Home Depot) and went to work. Your floor expert in Durango made sure we were purchasing the correct materials and gave us the step by step instructions.. We also purchased a flooring book. It took some time, but we are extremely happy with the results. We are proud of our work and know we saved money by doing it ourselves. October 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tile is awesome Great color. If you have never laid long tiles like these you should know, there is a trial/error period. Once you get going, it goes down easy. Brightens the room, easy to clean, versatile color scheme April 13, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tile is one of the BEST home investments ever. Some of the most beautiful tile I've seen in a while. Rustic and elegant wood grain tile makes my bathroom look amazing. With any tile takes a couple of days but the wait is worth it. Love it! July 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So happy! Beautiful tile!!! So glad we went with this one! And very appreciative to other reviewers that posted pictures and listed other items used in their projects. We used haystack grout and caulk. Very good match making it pretty forgiving of little imperfections in installation by less than expert folks! We used "Ivory Hummus" as the accent tile which is also from Home Depot. It wasn't our first choice but, the tile we ordered online didn't work out and we needed something right away. I really like how it turned out. I'm loving how it is all coming together. We are going to put the parkwood beige tile throughout our whole house. We like it that much! And you just can't beat the price. Extremely happy customer!! April 25, 2015
