We laid ours with no gap. It looks great. Do not use unsanded grout. We did in one room and it was a disaster.

With this tile we had no space between tiles. We did grout and it really looks like wood floors. People ask and feel to believe it's tile.

Answer:
If you do not want the grout to show go with a darker color such as tobacco. If you do a lighter color such as ivory can be used. A lighter color of grout can always be darkened later by using a colored sealant to darken it.

W are using simple floor tile cleaner and water. Nothing with bleaches or harsh chemicals. Swiffer duster works great for everyday. The tile we laid did not have a dusty cloud. Maybe the grout did not get cleaned off very good. Try water and deep cleaning to see. Good luck.

This a glazed tile product. Glazed simply means that the tile is a cross between matte and glossy. We recommend speaking with your local Home Depot store who can provide you with recommendations for finishes.

Hi Benjamin! Congratulations on your decision to get new floors! You are going to LOVE them. For so long I wanted hardwood floors so badly. When it finally came time to replace our fonky old carpet I was elated. But after shopping hardwood, I was sticker shocked. There was no way we could afford that. And with the dogs and kids, I worried that they would get scratched and there would be puddle damage. Somehow I stumbled across wood grain tile for floors and walls. JOY!!! I researched "rectified tile" for you and I could not find anywhere in print that the tile you are interested in has actually gone through the actual step of rectifying. But from my experience with my floors, I can say with honesty that they are all exactly the same size. They were installed with 1/8 inch spacers. I thought it should have been 1/16 but the man who I hired to install said 1/16 is too small. I was worried at first that it wouldn't look as much like real wood, but boy was I wrong! My husband has yet to call it tile floors, he calls it hardwood floors. I have had different contractors come in (for other projects around the house) and not believe me that it is not hardwood. They literally kneel and knock on the floor, then stand up shaking their heads and look all around my house, with their mouth hanging open, in complete shock, in utter disbelief. When they can finally close their mouths and speak, they just kinda quietly say, "woooow"....(shaking their head the whole time). LOL
P.S. If you do get them, mop with water and a sponge mop twice ASAP and then mop with vinegar and hot water a couple of times to remove the grout haze. ENJOY!!!

Parkwood Brown 7 in. x 20 in. Ceramic Floor and Wall Tile (10.89 sq. ft. / case) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 22.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful floor My contractor installed this so i can't speak to the ease of it but I can say i'm super happy with the end result. Transformed by small master bathroom and I wish I could put this in my entire 1st level of my home. It is a perfect dark wood and I used 'earth' polyblend for the grout so it will hide dirt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent product Did a full flooring replacement in our basement to remove existing laminate flooring and had installed this ceramic tile. The look is fantastic. It looks exactly like wood, love the larger width of the tiles. The Parkwood Brown is a nice dark brown that mirrors that of a darker wood stain. Definitely need to see them in person before ordering. I went to Home Depot to look at samples before placing my order and couldn't be happier with the product. Followed the suggestion of using 1/4 in. seams instead of the standard 1/2 in and used a darker grout. Really makes a difference. Highly recommend this product. Have already received so many compliments on it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Tile makes our home look and feel amazing!!! The tile looks and feels amazing. We were hesitant about getting laminate or wood flooring due to our three dogs, they tend to run around the house and we were afraid of them scratching the floors. This is why we decided to go with tile that looks like wood. The tile gives you that wood look but is more durable and can take a beating. My dogs have had plenty of races around the living room, even had some accidents in the house and the tile still looks amazing. There are no scratches and clean up is breeze. The only Con we've noticed is that we have to sweep the house every couple of days, but this is mainly due to our three dogs coming in and out of the house. We are considering buying a Roomba to help us maintain the floors. Overall, the house feels cooler and the look of the house has significantly improved. My wife walked in after all the tile was installed and she said that it felt like she walked into a new house. I would highly recommend this tile to anyone that wants the look of wood floors but doesn't want to worry about their kids/guests/pets ruining the wood floors.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful wood looking tile I love the look. It's truly beautiful. I am not sure if tile installer liked installing it because he charged a full extra day of work. We installed it with no space between. We used a neutral grout not from Home Depot. We did the kitchen, living, hall, entry and baths. It's beautiful. Looks amazing to me. I love it snd will use it again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Looks amazing! This product really looks like hardwood or laminate even from a few feet away. I was so surprised that it was actually tile. It will match well with our current flooring while still being tile in our bathroom. One box doesn't cover a lot but I got it on sale so that really helped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great looking "wood" floor I picked this for the entire condo. Wet traction is great (old folks + wet floors) no worries now Kitchen, dining, living, bedroom and laundry room walk in closet. I used earth grout a dark brown and the lines almost disappear. Most patterned tile looks manufactured. this tile has 12 or 15 different prints/patterns very hard to put matching ones next to a twin. the tile is even warm to my feet. here is a link to the finished job.
