We laid ours with no gap. It looks great. Do not use unsanded grout. We did in one room and it was a disaster.

With this tile we had no space between tiles. We did grout and it really looks like wood floors. People ask and feel to believe it's tile.

Answer:
If you do not want the grout to show go with a darker color such as tobacco. If you do a lighter color such as ivory can be used. A lighter color of grout can always be darkened later by using a colored sealant to darken it.

W are using simple floor tile cleaner and water. Nothing with bleaches or harsh chemicals. Swiffer duster works great for everyday. The tile we laid did not have a dusty cloud. Maybe the grout did not get cleaned off very good. Try water and deep cleaning to see. Good luck.

This a glazed tile product. Glazed simply means that the tile is a cross between matte and glossy. We recommend speaking with your local Home Depot store who can provide you with recommendations for finishes.

Hi Benjamin! Congratulations on your decision to get new floors! You are going to LOVE them. For so long I wanted hardwood floors so badly. When it finally came time to replace our fonky old carpet I was elated. But after shopping hardwood, I was sticker shocked. There was no way we could afford that. And with the dogs and kids, I worried that they would get scratched and there would be puddle damage. Somehow I stumbled across wood grain tile for floors and walls. JOY!!! I researched "rectified tile" for you and I could not find anywhere in print that the tile you are interested in has actually gone through the actual step of rectifying. But from my experience with my floors, I can say with honesty that they are all exactly the same size. They were installed with 1/8 inch spacers. I thought it should have been 1/16 but the man who I hired to install said 1/16 is too small. I was worried at first that it wouldn't look as much like real wood, but boy was I wrong! My husband has yet to call it tile floors, he calls it hardwood floors. I have had different contractors come in (for other projects around the house) and not believe me that it is not hardwood. They literally kneel and knock on the floor, then stand up shaking their heads and look all around my house, with their mouth hanging open, in complete shock, in utter disbelief. When they can finally close their mouths and speak, they just kinda quietly say, "woooow"....(shaking their head the whole time). LOL
P.S. If you do get them, mop with water and a sponge mop twice ASAP and then mop with vinegar and hot water a couple of times to remove the grout haze. ENJOY!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tile makes our home look and feel amazing!!! The tile looks and feels amazing. We were hesitant about getting laminate or wood flooring due to our three dogs, they tend to run around the house and we were afraid of them scratching the floors. This is why we decided to go with tile that looks like wood. The tile gives you that wood look but is more durable and can take a beating. My dogs have had plenty of races around the living room, even had some accidents in the house and the tile still looks amazing. There are no scratches and clean up is breeze. The only Con we've noticed is that we have to sweep the house every couple of days, but this is mainly due to our three dogs coming in and out of the house. We are considering buying a Roomba to help us maintain the floors. Overall, the house feels cooler and the look of the house has significantly improved. My wife walked in after all the tile was installed and she said that it felt like she walked into a new house. I would highly recommend this tile to anyone that wants the look of wood floors but doesn't want to worry about their kids/guests/pets ruining the wood floors. May 9, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product Did a full flooring replacement in our basement to remove existing laminate flooring and had installed this ceramic tile. The look is fantastic. It looks exactly like wood, love the larger width of the tiles. The Parkwood Brown is a nice dark brown that mirrors that of a darker wood stain. Definitely need to see them in person before ordering. I went to Home Depot to look at samples before placing my order and couldn't be happier with the product. Followed the suggestion of using 1/4 in. seams instead of the standard 1/2 in and used a darker grout. Really makes a difference. Highly recommend this product. Have already received so many compliments on it. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wood-look Ceramic Tile Tile was delivered with very few broken pieces. We are very happy with the tile and it looks awesome in our basement! July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DO NOT BUY!! DO NOT BUY DALTILE PRODUCTS. I purchased this tile in Parkwood brown from Home Depot and was originally very happy with it. I ordered enough for the whole job to make sure that all the tile cam fem the same dye lot. I installed the tile throughout the entire house that I just purchased. I installed it myself. If you have ever installed tile, you know what back breaking work it is. Since I have a full time job, the tile took me about 3 weeks to install. Imagine my rage and disappointment when I went to mop the tile in order to prepare it to be grouted and saw rings all over the tile!!!! See pictures! These rings are not visible when the tile is dry, other wise, I would not have installed it in my entire house! This defect is not even on every tile. It was sporadic. So clearly some boxes were properly manufactured and some were not. Since I was up against a deadline for completing the house, I figured out how to get the marks off the tile. I spent two days on my hands and knees with a dish sponge scrubbing the marks off each and every tile. Then if I didn't hate my life enough already, I still had to go back and grout the tile. I was able to get everything done by my deadline. However, with by back still spasming and knees still bruised and throbbing, I went down to Home Depot to return the excess tile. I went back to the same location I purchased from. (Nv Aliante #3324 in Las Vegas, NV 855 East Dorrell Lane, North Las Vegas, NV 89086) With photographs for proof, I returned the tile and explained to the cashier the whole story and advised that the tile should not be returned to stock. I asked to speak to the store manager. I was referred over to customer service where I had to explain the same story to 2 more associates. Then again with the Operations Manager, Tom. Then AGAIN with the store manager, Carlos! Each time they said they would have to have Daltile come and inspect the tile. I AGAIN explained that already fixed the problem because I was up against a deadline and could not wait for Daltile to schedule an inspection and then decide what to do. NOT ONE TIME did Tom, Carlos or any other employee apologize for this situation. I understand it was not their mistake, but I bought the product from Home Depot, not Daltile. That makes this Home Depot's problem. I had spent over $6000.00 at Home Depot in the 6 weeks previous to this interaction. I realize in the grand scheme of things, that's not a lot of money. But there will be other houses to flip, other projects to complete and there is no way I will be using Home Depot of Daltile for any of it. November 27, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by great looking "wood" floor I picked this for the entire condo. Wet traction is great (old folks + wet floors) no worries now Kitchen, dining, living, bedroom and laundry room walk in closet. I used earth grout a dark brown and the lines almost disappear. Most patterned tile looks manufactured. this tile has 12 or 15 different prints/patterns very hard to put matching ones next to a twin. the tile is even warm to my feet. here is a link to the finished job.
