Answer:
Tile can be installed over most structurally sound substrates. Make sure the surface is clean, smooth, dry and free of wax, soap scum or grease. Any damaged loose or uneven areas must be repaired, patched and leveled. Remove any moldings, trim, appliances or anything that could interfere with installation. Doorjambs may be undercut for tile to slip under.

Rated 3.9 out of 5 by 20 reviewers.
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Counter top I like the look of this tile. I used it as a counter top. You will need to purchase extra for a project as I found that approx 20 % of the tiles were chipped out of 2 boxes June 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quarry tile Tiles are great - shipping not so much. 40% of tiles had chipped off corners. Suggest picking them up from the store and inspecting first July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by My Mexican Kitchen I am installing quarry tile on the counters in my outdoor "Cocina". It has a very authentic appearance and I get many complements on it. Thanks! June 14, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Lowest quality The box arrived perfectly wrapped and showing no signs of damage, yet 3/4 of the tiles in it were badly chipped and unusable May 24, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Quarry tile a lot of the tiles were chipped or cut uneven. Too much of a issue to return them so I had a lot of waste April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great pizza stones Build a wood-fired pizza oven for thousands of dollars or buy a case of quarry tiles for $30? The tiles work really well for making home-made, great tasting pizza in my conventional oven. I've even given tiles to friends for baking at their homes. April 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Quality These tiles have a nice "cling" when you clap them together, indicating a good temper. The color is uniform throughout the tile. The photo that shows a thin layer of color is not correct. Allow for 15% chipped corners if they are palleted and shrunk wrapped. Figure about 30% chipped if you order a single box and it comes by UPS. Then, of course, you can use the chipped ones for your cut tiles.. March 24, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by NICE TILES FOR INTENDED USE; NOT GOOD FOR BAKING These are flooring tiles and I would say that they look good for their intended use. However, I purchased them for use as a pizza and bread baking surface in my oven, and do not recommend them for that use. With a conventional round pizza stone I can only bake 1 pizza at a time. These tiles if they worked correctly allow me to cover 2 oven shelves and bake either 2 pizzas, or numerous bread loaves simultaneously. The problem is that they break rather easily. Pizza is generally not a problem unless the cheese runs over onto the tile. They cannot take any thermal shock. If you spray breads with water for example, they will likely crack immediately. So far, I have broken about 10 tiles. With 44 tiles in a box they will last a while, but a larger baking stone made for specifically for baking would have been a better investment. I have been using the same round stone for years without any cracking, so I have experience with this. Fortunately this was not a big investment, so it's not a big deal, but I won't be buying another box after this one is done. March 29, 2016
