Yes it will work very well for shower walls, but you might look at the larger tile of the same color. I personally get tired of looking at all of the grout lines in an area that large and appreciate the larger tile, when installing. I do like the looks of the smaller tile, though, and would use it more if I were 20years younger. So, if you're up to the tedium, this stuff will look and act great. Always Read More

I would think so.... We used it as a kitchen backsplash, so I certainly think it could be used in a bathroom as well.

Answer:
As far as we know, this could probably be used for the inside of a shower; however, you'd have to be very careful to choose the correct sealer AND grout. We, ourselves, used it for the bathroom walls - not the shower. It would probably be best to contact the manufacturer and ask. Hope this helps.

Answer:
Yes...As with any tile, you want to seal your grout to prevent stains, moisture working into the grout and possibly mold and mildew working within the grout and under the tile

Answer:
The tile doesn't have to be sealed, but any grout, other than an epoxy or grout that specifically says"do not seal," on the label, does. A sealer does enhance the looks and performance of the tile, though, and especially in a kitchen, makes cleaning a lot easier. I like to use a sealer that is made for both; that way it is easier to apply and you get everything at one time.
Good luck,
Larry

Answer:
absolutely, but, unless you plan on tiling all of the way to the floor, you should put a strait edge ledger board on the wall behind the stove to support the tile in case they want to slip before they set. This is easy to do by hot gluing a straight piece of 1x2 (or any straight piece of wood) to the same height as the counter top on both sides of the stove.

In the store this backsplash is about a 12x12 piece with mesh backing connecting the tiles. The price says 3.98 each. Now is this per tile on the mesh or is this for the entire 12x12 sheet?

Answer:
This tile is sold in sheets of 15 tiles. There are 6 rows that alternate from 2 and 3 tiles per row. This gives a staggered pattern, that is matched by the next sheet. there is actually .83 sq ft /sheet.

It is sold by single sheet. The 12 x12 tile is on mesh. Thus the entire tile would be $3.98. Read my review on the square foot coverage of the tile.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.7 out of 5 by 32 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tile Counter Top I see all the pics in other reviews are back-splashes. We used to update a tire old 70's vanity which saved buying a new vanity. Raised the top to 36" same as some new vanities and most kitchens. See the pics - judge for yourself....... Try Fuze-It construction adhesive for your vertical work - great stuff.... April 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! I really like this mosaic, very versatile for different styles and design tastes at a great price point. Just make sure that when you buy the tiles you get them all from the same box and that they all match because there is a slight variation in the edge thickness and matting and you want to make sure you have all the same before you start your project. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Happy with results First time tiling a backsplash, so we were somewhat hesitant. Once we got rolling, it was surprisingly easy. Some of the tiles were not square on the mat so some of the grout lines are slightly off, but we are probably the only ones who would notice. We are very happy with the overall look. We made sure to mix and match the tiles as we put them on the wall so the darker ones were evenly dispersed. April 13, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Daltile Pacific Sand We installed this as a kitchen backsplash. Although we did not like the pattern we removed the dark tiles and installed all the dark at the bottom and all lighter tiles at the top and it turned out wonderful. Very easy for a DIY install, great value for the price. We had looked for backsplash tile for 8 months before seeing this tile at a Home Depot in another city and purchased all they had. It really turned out well. I would really give this a 4.5 out of 5..some of the quality of the tiles were bad so we discarded them. March 17, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Style.. Outstanding appeal This is our first house so need to be careful , We bought Simple Mat from Home Depot and followed the instructions with this tile. The pain was to cut the tiles, so we bought the cheap tile cutter for $20 that did the job for us. See the pictures March 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful back splash tile Was looking for something to compliment my counter tops and tile flooring w/o spending an arm and a leg that came in the brick style and these completely fit the bill . Looked great, was easy to install and they are also a real solid tile. Also used the Mapei Harvest grout March 7, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Designer backsplash at half the cost! This is the first tile project that my wife and I have done. Our kitchen backsplash came out better than professional quality. The tile is easy to cut with a wet saw and easy to place with the 12" X 12" sheets. The color and size of the tile matches our NVG granite and cider maple color cabinets perfectly, and makes our kitchen look bigger than it really is. Amazingly, this tile costs less than half of other less attractive tiles. June 26, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by These are beautiful tiles to use for BackSplash It was my first ever project to install Kitchen Backsplash tile and I'm glad to have chosen these tiles, they look awesome. As the saying goes, "A picture is worth thousand words", I thought of attaching some pics instead. October 14, 2013
