How long does it last?

I'm sure it is determined by how much humidity is in the air. Just bought a beach condo 1,600 sq ft and it will sit empty for up to three months at a time. Based on the square footage recommendations I would most definitely use two at a time but was trying to figure out if I should buy extras to leave for the management company. Do they only start working after they have been opened?

I am looking for something to rid moisture in the trunk of my car. When I drive I would guess the tub would get jostled around a bit and maybe tip over. I see most people just leave it in a room or stationary postion. Would this tub work in the trunk of a constantly moving vehicle?

Well, I actually use mine in my old car because of a sunroof leak when it rains. I have a tarp over the old clunker, but water tends to seep in once in awhile. However, I don't drive that old car, but I would advise you to keep upright in a bankers box or if you have a car organizer in the trunk to use it for this purpose
